Not the brain eating kind, the book. The one written bye, Joyce Carol Oates. So far it is a good book. A little wierd but good. It is about this serial killer that was a sex offender. I didn't start reading it for that reason, I actually thought it was a zombie book. You know, because of the title.
But it is really about this dude named Quentin, in the book her refers to everyone by the first letter in thier first and last name. His was, Q__ P__. That right there is annoying. Anyways, It has nothing to do with Zombies. Just what he calls a zombie.
To him a zombie is a slave. He has a very descriptive term in the book....but I'm not gonna quote it. A 7 year old or something might read it and I will get a guilt trip. ((How dare you steal that phrase Queen Megan!!!)) It is pretty good, but the stupid thing is that it doesn't really have an ending. It has 57 chapters and no real ending. At least the book I have doesn't. I got it from my mom.
Yes, the one that has stolen all my cash. But she hasn't even read the book either, so she doesn't know anything about it. She gave me a few books because she is getting rid of a ton of them. This one I read first, I have like six others I think.
If she had read the book she wouldn't have let me have t because of three reasons.
1. The guy is gay, I guess, and it is descriptive of what he wants the "Zombie" to do.
2. Tons of bad language, not like Ann Rice....but then again she doesn't read those books either.
3. TOO DESCRIPTIVE!!! But only in some parts.
It is an awsome book....I think...not sure....it needs an ending. In the last chapter it says that he gets invited to Christmas dinner with his folks. In the chapter before that, he is thinking about having a girl for a zombie. BUT IT DOESN'T SAY WHAT HE DOES!!! gonk
He killed over five guys I think in the book. They were all sopposed to be his ZOMBIE.
