So, I'm watching the World cup final. It is more interesting than any of the movies that I could watch most of which I have seen a hundred times. What I can't understand is why we Americans find "football" more interesting than football. The rest of the world has it right if you ask me. I would much rather watch a game of skill than a game of smashing into your opponent. Have you ever watched football? (the american kind) All those hot heads do is run into eachother as hard as the can throw a ball and try and tackle, yes grab and bring down their opponent. Now football on the other hand (soccer that is), people are running. The game does not stop when the ball is tackled, and when there are collisions there is no padding to obsorb the shock. Heck I have a seventeen-year-old friend who can't play any more because she tore her acl. Yes and teenage girl who is barely five foot can't play her favorate game any more. She still wants to play. Well I think that even with that danger... wait a minute! Girls don't even get to play "football". What the heck is up with that?
I haven't realy been following the world cup because I am not able to watch the games but well after all the fouls against France in the begining, Go France. Oh,g2g games back on.
