OMG, I SAW PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST TODAY! *spazzes* Omg, it was so awesome! Me and Dad got there REAL early and at first there were only a few people there. Slowly people started coming and filling up the theater though. It was a large theater. I'd only been there once before with my mom and we got a smaller theater. But anyways, the screen wad HUGE! Like, freaking IMAX big! And there were speakers lining the walls. We sat in the front row (behind the row for handi-capped people, even though no handi-capped people sat there, only late-comers) and of course -I- got this annoying 5 year-old basturd behind me. He kept kicking the seat and saying things like "What's THAT mean?" UGH.
After this sentence, there are gonna be some MAJOR spoilers, so I'm warning you right now, if you haven't seen the movie, DON'T READ THEM. IT'LL TOTALLY RUIN IT FOR YOU!
So why haven't you stopped reading? I mean it, I'm giving the whole movie away here, even if you don't plan on seeing it (though you should. Unless you haven't seen the first one. Then watch the first one and THEN watch Dead Man's Chest, it won't be a waste of your time, I promise. Because there's a lot of humor in this movie that comes from the first movie)

But anyways, the movie was SO AWESOME! At first I thought "Aw, sea-monster people? It's like totally One Piece with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom" (which really doesn't sound so bad) but then Dad was talking about all the good reviews it got, and he decided he's buying it when it comes out on DVD, lol After seeing it, I would get a huge TV and the best surround sound if only JUST to watch that movie, it was so amazing!!! The movie theater should have seat belts in the seats, because I almost fell out of me chair laughing, and I almost jumped out of my seat at some spooky parts. It wasn't really SCARY, though I guess it could be to little kids who are gonna think "OMGUNDEADSEAMONSTERPEOPLEAREGONNAATTACKME!" but it was just there were a lot of parts that made you jump (like on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, when Harry is touching that dead hand and then it suddenly GRABS him, GAWD, that made me jump xd ) like when Will Turner finds Gibs's bottle-thing and he's following this line and it goes up next to this tree and this native of the island JUMPS out and Will gets tied up in a rope (someone in the theater screamed, LMAO) and when Jack is standing in front of the Krakken and it's all quiet and then it just suddenly ROARS at him (and spits out his hat, xd Jack's like "Oh look, my hat" wink
The best part of the movie is the humor (and like I said before, some of it won't make much sense if you didn't see the first one) Some of the funny lines were given away in the previews, as with most movies, but there was plenty of jokes that were WAY funnier than the ones in the commercials. I can't remember a lot of them right now, a lot of it was the way people looked at a certain time, like when Will tells the crew to gather up all the rum to help kill the Krakken, those poor people, lol
And in the beginning Jack is trying to make a map, but his compass is going whack-o and he picks up a bottle of rum, realizes it's empty, and says "Why is the rum always gone?" Then he gets up to go get some more, and he walks past where all his crew are sleeping and says "As you were, mates" and then he's getting another bottle of rum and hear's a man's voice, so he walks over to this human-form sitting in the corner and realizes it's Boot-strap Bill Turner, William Turner's father who everyone thought was dead. So Jack says "Is this a dream?" and Boot-strap shakes his head and Jack says "No, if it were there'd be rum." rofl But then Boot-strap hands him a bottle, xd
Or when they're on the island, trying to find the box which holds Davey Jones's heart, and when they find it everyone is arguing about what to do with it (well, Will, Jack, and ex-commedor Norrington are fighting over it) and they Jack points a sword at Will and he points his sword back at Jack but then Norrington comes over and points his sword at Jack, who points his sword back at Norrington, then Will points his sword at Norrington so Jack decides to point his back at Will, and the way he does it is SO funny. Johnny Depp does such a good job in that movie. So then they start fighting, and Elizabeth gets all pissed off and she goes: "I'm so sick of pirates!" and goes on about how they're always sword-fighting or something and starts throwing rocks at them, so two of the old cursed crew from the Black Pearl who just showed up decide to be honorable and take the temptation away from those who are fighting, and grab the box and run, but Elizabeth sees them and starts running after them, but then they both point their swords at her and she realizes that Will took her sword to fight with Jack and Norrington, but then they all see the sea-monster people (who are part of Davey Jones's crew) and they both give her their swords and they start running. All the while the three who are fighting move their fight to a bell tower and Will and Norrington start fighting on one of those wheel-things that I think they use with water to create power or something like that, and it breaks off and starts to roll, and Jack had gotten the key for himself, so he had run off, but then he runs into a grave, and the wheel goes rolling over him, and he gets stuck in it and the key falls away from him, and he gets out of the wheel, and then the wheel goes running through the forest, right near Elizabeth and the other 2 pirates with Jack running after it. xd
And yeah, it was a great movie. I could go on FOREVER. And I should, since no one will probably read this anyways. Oh well, I don't think I will. I'm tired. lol
Anyways, I had a great time. It was a nice day.
