Wow my first post....
I wrote this poem called "Perfection"...hope you like it!

Perfection
What is perfection?
Perfection is like snow.
so pure,
white,
soft -
like an image of innocence
a mask of eternity
falling from the heavenly skies
as if the angels
brushed off their wings
and shed cold white feathers to earth
into the open oblivion
of a field of white
sometimes cold and harsh
but still pure like crystal
for if blood stains snow
it merely turns a redish pink
like the cheeks of a cherub
or petals of a spring rose
if flames of a fire burn snow
it only smolders and creates a puddle
of newborn tears
but even if it covers
miles and miles
and challenges the best of men
once the sun shines over
the snow once there
metamorphoses into nothing but
a crystal pool
some say perfection is like eternal beauty
captured by artists
on canvas and paper
stored forever through the passing of time
and some say it is like a single shard
for there is only one
on the face of earth
but maybe like snow,
perfection is just a mirror
of illusions
pieced together,
For all the imperfections
we find in the world
is what makes this place
so perfect.
