I've had the time of my life... No I never felt this way before!
Who doesn't know this famous line from the famous song "The Time of my Life" from the classic movie "Dirty Dancing"? I freaking love that song and that movie, one of my favorites. Why did I put those lines here? Because it's how I felt at my prom. I know that I didn't feel like going anymore, but I'm so happy I did and I would have regretted it forever if I hadn't gone. I had a total blast with all my friends, we went by school bus because we're not rich enough to afford limousines. gonk Anyway, it's an original way of getting to your prom. wink Everyone looked gorgeous and beautiful. We all hugged/kissed each other and took plenty of pictures. We had a cocktail that was really sweet, the snacks were so yummy and the drinks so cool and tasty. cheese_whine Then we went to our reception room where there was a tiny dancing spot. Come on, it could have been bigger so that EVERYONE could fit. rolleyes I was at the table 15 with my friends and we had the teacher's table behind us. One of the teacher got a bread that DL tried to throw at Penny who later on attacked an other teacher with a piece of bread. Gawd, that was freaking hilarious! rofl Too bad the food wasn't as delicious as I thought it would be, except for the soup and the dessert. Except for that, I found that I was a DANCING WHORE!!! eek I was so on fire that night and I danced liked crazy to all the songs I liked or that were funny to dance to. Mox was also on fire, we agreed to go to clubs together once we turn 18. cool
That was the best time I've had in my entire 17 years of life. I'm just sad that it didn't last longer and that people left before midnight. But I'll always keep good memories of this wonderful night that I'm not ready to forget. I'll try to get all the pictures taken there by everyone so I could have a big collection of my prom. I'm suppose to meet my classmates again in 10 years in our schoolyard. Because I know that I won't be seeing lots of those classmates even do we promised we'd keep contact. Time always separates us, especially since we're going to different cegeps and probably different universities.
But I know that I'll keep in touch with some of them and of course, my dear table friends that I will still hangout with. RIGHT? mad I kid, I kid, I joke, I joke! I know that we'll stay together because... I know it! You guys mean a lot to me even if sometimes I'm mean with you. I'm just a bit twisted dramallama , but I love you guys so freaking much for always being there for me when I need you and always trying to make me smile. I'll always be there for you when you need help and I'll support you till the end. Even if you want to escape to Mexico because you messed with the law, I'll tag along with you guys but you'll have to give me cinco pesos. domokun
