Shalimar's turn...again. Part 2--ends with me waking up
Shalimar's point of view
Corrigan grinned. "Well, that's the interesting part now isn't it? So far, your mother and your aunt are the only two who have survived getting the mark--then again, they had each other's strength to draw on. As for you? it's is a toss of the coin. Does having the spirits of nine dragon princesses help or hinder you in surving my little game?"

"Game?!" I said. "GAME?! This is nothing more than a GAME to you!?"

"I am rather bored."

Clinching my fists to my sides, I lowered my head and growled, "You've destroyed countless lives because you're bored and need excitement? What kind of monster are you?"

"A bored one. Now, if you join me--"

"JOIN YOU?" I asked, throwing my head up and laughing for a moment. "JOIN YOU? What in your diseased-ridden brain pain makes you think I'm going to join you?!"

Snapping the fingers on his left hand, Corrigan said, "Because if you do not, the lives of those you care about are forfiet."

Across the way, my parents and grandparents began to rattle and shake as energy coursed through their veins. I knew that technically it was not hurting my grandparents or my father...but it could very well kill my mother. Being water elementals, my entire family disliked most fire elements since fire and water do not get along well--but we absolutely hated any and all electric elementals for the sheer fact that they could kill us quite easily since water is a "wonderful" conductor of electricity.

"Stop it," I said.

"What was that?" Corrigan asked, a twited smile on his face. "Did you say you'll join me?"

"Just...stop it," I replied, looking at the floor.

"You have to say specifically if you will or not before I'll stop," Corrigan said.

I could smell burning scales. "FINE! JUST STOP HURTING THEM! WHATEVER IT TAKES, JUST STOP HURTING MY FAMILY!"

"Wonderful!" Corrigan said, immediately cutting off the electricity to my family. Striding over to me, he lifted me up by my throat--I offered no resistance. "Now, this is only going to hurt...a lot."

Gritting my teeth, I bit back on a scream of pain as thousands of volts of dark electricity surged through my veins. The longer it went on, the more I was aware that it was quite bareable and was not quite doing what Corrigan wanted it to do.

"Damn that McGreen," [+1] Corrigan said, cutting the power. Looking me in the eye, he said, "You still have free will for now; but soon you'll be obeying me...Tynan."
Groaning, I lifted a lead weighted hand to my forehead and muttered, "Did anyone write down the serial number of the freighter ship [+2] that hit me...?"

[+1] See Rose's entry about McGreen.
[+2] For those of you thinking sea ship, I am referring to a space ship.

So the crash was caused by a "Space Taxi"slang for a freighter-class spacecraft?

Here I thought it was some internal problems....
