My dream that I had that I Turned into a story!

Fears Truth

Part 1

Sweat drops down from my trembling head. My eyes wont believe it, the can’t! Trying to read the book in my shaking hands and to soak all the meaning in was difficult. This is inhumane! I thought. No one should ever go through any of this torture…I turned the page. The last paragraph of the last page of the book. Confusion, loneliness, sadness all crept into my mind and thoughts. Why did he have to die?! Why was his last moment a hellish scene? Why?!
I wanted to know why he had to die at such a young age, seeing that scene would be burned into his memory forever! Such innocence, “To be so young is oh so scary.” - Marilyn Manson once said. That summarized the whole book.
I sat up from my bed and the book slipped out of my hands onto the floor. I was expressionless because I was lost in the thoughts and questions in my mind. I couldn’t comprehend the ending. But Why? After a few moments, I snapped back into reality and glanced at my alarm clock. It read: 9:27pm. It’s almost time to go to sleep, but my mind still ponders on the thought of the little boy’s death.
I rested my head on my pillow as I closed my eyes. They needed a rest after that last chapter. I started to wonder about the little 9 year old boy, about his death. Then before I knew it, I began to sleep.

Part 2

Feeling the coldness under my arms and a pen in my arms, I looked down. My arms where resting on a counter, which was scribbled on with different colors. Weird. I looked around. To the left I saw a menu. I glanced around the room: white tables standing on one leg and people eating at those tables. Is this a restaurant? A restaurant, it all seems familiar even though I’ve never been to a place like this.
While my mind was baffled, a hand reached out and grabbed my shoulder. I let out a frightened squeal and turned around quickly. A tall man wearing a brown trench coat was standing behind me.
“Well, well, well!” The man said. “Aren’t you jumpy today!” He paused and looked down at me. Who was this man? “Son,” He continued. Son? What was that all about, I’m a girl. “Hurry up and order something. You keep day dreaming.” He pointed to the counter as he wrote down something and a waiter came over and looked at his writing.
“This man wants two chilly cheese dogs and a Large Coke.” The waiter yelled at the people working in the kitchen.
How do I order? What do I order? I scribbled something down, not knowing what I ordered and looked up at him. He gave me thumbs up. “Good choice, son!”
He guided me to a seat and sat down. Who is this man? Is he supposed to be my father? Where the hell am I? I think I’m going to ask him. I cleared my throat and slowly and calmly began. “What is going on?!!” That didn’t come out right. I’m frustrated and confused; my anger began to build up. The man had a confused look on his face. Then I realized my voice. Its a male voice! Now I was scared. I didn’t know where I was or Who I am. I tried to calm down but my breathing sped up. My eyes jolted to all directions looking for an answer.
The man grabbed me across the table and said in a soothing voice, “Everything is alright, trust me.” I looked in his brown eyes looking for the truth. Suddenly, I felt a rush of tranquility. His eyes gave me all the answers. He held out his hand and said, “Lets go to mom’s house.” I reached out grabbed his hand. The moment we touch I saw a flash of images in my mind. Swings, slides, a 17 year old male that seems vaguely similar to the man. My “father” Hugs and tears. I felt every emotion: hate sadness, sorrow, joy. Whose emotions were these? They are certainly not mine…It must be this little boys emotion…

Part 3

I had figured it out once the man, who is supposedly my father, took me to my mother’s house. The moment I stepped into the entry way, everything made sense. This house, this man, the body that I am in were all in the book that I read last night. Finally, it hit me, I’m in this story!
While I was busy trying to conclude why I was here, a woman called out a name very loud after my father announce that I was home. “Judeau! Answer me when you are spoken to young boy!!” She shook her finger at me.
“Yes ma’am.” I said politely.
“Now march up to your room right now while your daddy and I talk.” I hated her already. I took a few steps and looked around. Right in front of me was a staircase and to the left was a living room decorated with black leather couches and cream colored walls. Plain and simple. As I started up the staircase, I heard mother telling father what time she wants him to pick me up for visitations and what-not.
I continued up the stairs until I reached the top. After the last step I was in a room. This room had tan looking walls and a big blue bed right in the middle of the bedroom. I suddenly got excited and jumped onto the bed. I laid down , still checking out the whole room. I looked over to my right and there was another flight of stairs. I wonder where they lead to…
I bounced off my bed to the carpet and went up the stairs. Once I was at the top I saw racks upon racks of clothing. This is one big closet! I was amazed. This is a nice place. I went back down and laid down on my bed. The mattress seemed to eat me up in softness. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

Part 4

My eyes opened nervously in a sweat. What is this feeling? I scanned my room for anything dangerous. My eyes looked up every step to my closet…nothing. But why am I sensing danger? I tried to close my eyes and go to sleep. After a few moments my ear twitched and I opened my eyes. There, a few inches away from my own face, there was another one.
Warm breath rolled down my neck and hair on my neck began to stand up. The deathly face of a creature was present. Dirt and fleshy. The skin was peeling. The bottom of it’s lip had stitches that ran down to it’s chin. The eyes reminded me of death, Himself. Another warm breath slithered out between it’s lips. I opened my mouth to scream but I heard nothing.
I squeezed my eyes shut and threw the blankets over my head. I tried to scream but every attempt was a failure. Under the covers, I held my knees to my chest tightly. With my body shaking, my heart raced. Faster and faster my heart beat increased. I was gulping for air, therefore, fear has taken over.
I slowly pulled the covers down just low enough to see. My eyes moved slowly a crossed the room, form right to left. I saw the stairs, floor, wall and the doorway. I stopped my eyes at the doorway and that’s when I stopped breathing. All I could hear was my heart beat, bumping in my chest. I didn’t want to look but I had to.
There, the deformed creature hung. A rope from the ceiling connected around it’s neck. The rope had turned it’s neck red. The neck had been bent in such an unnatural way that the image was burned into my mind. My eyes followed the body’s swaying, back and forth. Back and forth. I looked at the pale face and my eyes began to widen. It grinned. In fear, I passed out.

Part 5

I began to stir. My index finger twitched. I was awake. I rose up quickly as I looked around the room in a panic. Where is he?! Right then, I remembered that fleshy face. The grey skin peeling ever so slowly off his face. Such deformity that I will have nightmares for weeks.
While I was searching for him, I noticed that I was laying on the floor. Hard wood floor. I bought myself up to my feet and peered through the darkness. All I could see was a vast velvety blackness with a crack of light piercing through. I stretched out my arm to guide me because I couldn’t see a thing. I took a few steps while moving my hand around the area. My foot kicked a ball of some sort and it shut a door. Now all I could see is pitch black.
Now I am engulfed in darkness. I decided that should take another step. Once my foot hit the floor the wood made an eerie creaky noise which made me jump into something, maybe a wall. First my head hit it which made a big thump. After, I heard another noise. Something that I didn’t make. Was it the creature?
I was scared and alone in a sea of blackness. I came down to a squatting position and then sat down without making a sound. I leaned my head up against the wall and closed my eyes ad listened: Thump, thump. The sound that was made sounded like footsteps. From where? I tried to listen harder. This time I heard the footsteps stop right behind me. Is it the creature?
I’m frightened at this point. With the presence of something behind me I start to panic. The only thing I can hear now is my own breathing and heartbeat. I try to see if somebody is in this room…All I see is grey figures here and there. Very close to black but light enough to see vaguely. The figure raced over to one side of the room. I followed it with my eyes. It went up and down and hovered right in the middle.
I closed my eyes to prevent me from seeing anything else. Then, I hear whispers, soft whispers right next to my ear. Run. That what was whispered. Run. Now I started to hear it in my left ear. Run. Now my right ear. Hide. Now the whispers came both ears. Run and hide. The chanting of those words echoed so loudly that I couldn’t handle it. With my hands cupped around my ears I screamed and this time I heard it.
“Judeau!” The door on the far side of the room flew open. Light seeped into the room blinding me. Tears streaming down my face, I got up and ran up to the person who opened the door. Surprisingly, it was my father. “Are you alright, Judeau?” He combed his fingers threw my hair. “Last night you were having nightmares over at Mom’s house. She called me up and said to take you over to my house.” He smiled. “You could sleep in my bed tonight, okay?” I nodded wiping away my tears.

Part 6

My father and I went back to that restaurant that I appeared in to get something to eat. While he was at the counter ordering some food for us I looked over at the menu, but this time somebody had put an advertisement over it. I read it:

**********************************************************************
The newest book! Sold over 1 million copies!
Well told story of a crazy woman who kills her children and their father doesn’t know that any of it is happening. True story!
And this inspirational father named - - - -
**********************************************************************
I got cut off, my father grabbed me and flipped me around towards him. “Don’t you ever read something like that again!” His face was stone cold. He was serious. “Do you hear me!!” He yelled. I nodded defensively. “Good” He ripped the advertisement down from the menu and threw in the garbage. What the hell was that all about? Was the person who wrote that book him? No, it couldn’t be. Maybe.. “We are getting out of here!” He grabbed my arm and he drove me to my mother’s house.

Part 7

Waiting on the doorstep for my mother to open the door I see something in the nearest window. The white curtains began to move and sway, I could barely see who was behind there. I hopped over a bush to go near the window. I cupped my hand around my face so I can see inside, not my reflection. Nothing, all I see is the curtain. So, I turned around and then I heard a scratching noise on the window I just peered into. I froze in fear. It’s him. I slowly turned around to see. There, on the windowsill was the creature. His face was now melting onto the floor. The fingers on his hand fell off one by one. Just like melting wax. I turned around and screamed while pointing towards the creature to my father. “Dad! He…look…its..” I stuttered. I couldn’t get the words to come out right.
He ran over and picked me up. “What’s the matter?” I pointed over to the window. Nothing. Nothing was there! He looked over by the window and my mother opened up the curtains to catch the warm rays of the sun to come in. “Your mother? You want to go inside to see your mother that badly, okay.”
He went inside the house and put me on the couch. “You wait here while I go talk with your mother.” I nodded. They went outside on the porch to talk. I went to the window that looked out to the porch and watched them talk. I couldn’t hear a word they were saying. I looked around the yard, bright green grass waving in the breeze. Very peaceful to gaze upon. Bordering our yard were dark green bushes that were in bloom. Their flowers danced off of the sunlight which made them an even brighter yellow.
Getting lost in the beauty of nature, I didn’t realize what was by my parents. It tapped on the window. Tap, tap. The creature was right next the my mother, practically touching her! She didn’t notice at all. Tap, tap. It wants my attention, should I give it to him? I looked over. His hand went through the glass as if it were water. My legs wouldn’t move off of the couch. “Mom!” I yelled for help. “Dad! Please help! It’s...coming...it…is..” Now, it’s head was through the window and his right arm. He was reaching for me. Aiming right for my neck. No, I thought cowardly, please, stop. Nearly half of his body as through the glass. Move legs! Move! Suddenly they responded and I ran to kitchen.
I opened the kitchen drawers trying to find big butcher knives. None. I saw none. He was all in the house now. I heard his footsteps come closer, very slowly. I was furiously looking for a knife. I looked in the sink and reached my hand in and pulled out anything I could find. Luckily, I found a knife.
I heard the footsteps around the corner. All I need to do is turn around and throw it. I calmed myself down. Take deep breaths. In….out…The steps grew louder and louder. It was time. I turned myself around the corner and threw the knife. I ran to get another knife and I looked to see if I got the creature. A piercing cry came from my mothers mouth. She had her hand clenched around the knife. She looked up at me with her blue eyes sparkling with sorrow. “Why?” She managed to whisper out.
The knife was in her thigh deep. Blood seeped out of her wound. Bad. I dropped the knife in sadness. It landed straight on my foot. I fell down in pain. I pulled it out quickly. Our blood mixed into a pool of blood on the carpet. I saw the creature’s head underneath the couch. It’s tongue slithered out of his mouth into my wound. Pain jolted threw my leg and I let out a horrified scream. His tongue dug deeper and deeper into my wound, and it began to go up my leg. “Stop!!” I screeched.
My mother came running into the house. “What is the matter.” She paused and saw my foot. “Oh my god!! What did you do?” I was so confused. I just stabbed her and yet there she is, not injured. What is going on? “We need to go to the doctor right away!” She picked me up and called the doctor.
I was facing a calendar. Today is a Sunday. Written on it in small letters, “Get new breaks by today!” What? New breaks? For the car? My mom put me down in a chair while she talked with the doctor. Then, a rush of images flashed in front of me. I saw that I was in a car. Next thing I know is that I’m in a fire. Then blackness. And a news report of a car crash and witnesses say that the mother had killer herself and her little boy in the crash…
No, I don’t want to die. But that’s how the book ends.

Part 8

I got in the car, in the backseat elevating my foot. I looked outside my window. All I saw was the blue sky dotted in clouds and the highway. Looks like its going to rain. “Are you alright, Judeau?”
“Yes.” I looked over and the creature guy was driving. “No! Get me out of here now!” I was banging on the window trying to get other peoples attention. None of them looked. He grinned and sharply turned the car to the right off of the road. The car flipped several times in the air and rolled on the ground.
Fire was building up all around me. My mothers body passed out, already burnt, dying. I screamed and struggled to get out but my seat belt was melting. I couldn’t get out. “********! Come on!” I yanked at the seat belt. It pulled loose. I was free. The car was windowless so I decided to crawl through it. Cutting my hands and knees while trying to save my life. I was half way out when I smelt my mothers body burning. No, mother. Why…why? I looked up to a noise. It was a whistle. I train whistle. I struggled even more to get out but I was stuck in the blanket of fire. The train was coming. Fast. I needed to get out soon. Pain, I felt it on every inch of my body. I tried to ignore it but I couldn’t.
Another whistle from the train. It was much louder. I looked up. I saw the creature on the railroad tracks a couple of meters from where I was. “I hate you!” I cried out. Hatred were my last words. He disappeared as the train swept passed him. I just stopped. I give up on living. I’m a failure.
I lie there waiting for death to strike. And when it come I pray that it’ll come quick and painless. Glass, cutting through my abdomen, I start the loose a lot of blood. “Please train, come faster. I want to die.” I began to weep. “Hurry up!” I cried even harder. “Please!” My voiced cracked. The train whistled. And I was gone.

Part 9

Police reports say that this was an attempt of suicide the way the car landed on the train tracks. Witnesses say that she tried to brake but she lost control of the car and flipped onto the railroad tracks.
Nine year old, Judeau Valance and his mother Julie Valance died in the horrible car crash today.
Smoke and fire raised up into the air this after noon. Firefighters recovered the young boys body and said that he tried to make an escape but unfortunately, he didn’t make it. On the other hand, His mother seemed to die in the fire while she passed out. Very tragic. The firefighters contained the fire just a few hours ago. Now they will have to move the train, which had hit the fallen vehicle, and the car.
Funerals will not be open casket but will be opened to the public tomorrow afternoon.

Part 10
The last paragraph of the last page of the book. Confusion, loneliness, sadness all crept into my mind and thoughts. Why did he have to die?! Why was his last moment a hellish scene? Why?! I read it out loud.

“I lie there waiting for death to strike. And I was gone.”

Poor kid. He was only nine and he wanted to die. But I know why now. The little boy had hallucinations. But every time they were the same. That creature. He had seen so many of the creature that the little boy went crazy. Sadly, he thought that the creature had done the crash. Not his mother.
