The only word i could ever begin to describe that masion is wow. It was utterly beautiful inside and out! When you first walked in you went into the mens waiting room, the ladies was closed off basically because it was fernished and stamped with gold and had little tea sets set about.
Then we went out into the main ballroom, where two beautiful red velvet carpeted winding staircases led you upstairs and then in the center against a wall was a HUGE red flowered x-mass tree...and to the right was the biggest fireplace practically ever built, made of all grey marble and incrested with pink granite(thats extinct now) And then we went upstairs into mr. Vanderbilts room, he had pictures of his family everywhere and his room was done in a pretty rosey pinkish pastel color, and then into his dressing room,bathroom and then into his wifes room, they did not sleep toget her o_o. Her room was gorgous! everything was either white or pink and she had those long chairs to lay on ect. Then we went into the childrens room which looked very amture..but i guess you'd have to expect that.
After we went into random rooms id neveer herd of in a house but they had wounderous views of their OCEAN FRONT that was infront of their back yard which went out like 200ft, along with a lavish decorative garden that was well kept care of ^^. We also went into the dining room, waterfountain room o.o; and the billard room. That concluded most of it and we could walk about the grounds but honestly it was the most beautiful thing ive ever laid my eyes on..
Then we went into the town of Newport RI and looked for lunch , which was most difficult to find so we ate hotdogs at a seven-eleven. It was better then i thought, i got a huge diet coke O_o and then a huge blue slerpie thinger it was soo good!....
Anfd thats when my eyes beheld the BIGGEST hershey bar ive ever seen it was solid chocolate and weighed like literally 6lbs, and was 50..yes 50 servings!!! Gawd it was heavenly. Then we goofed around for twenty minutes and rushed to the bus and came home <3
