After that day, the day he first left the sacred cave he had lived in for 1/3 rd of his life The Old One discoved his new home shortly after finding the bush of blackberries.

Being that once upon a time he had been an explorer himself, finding it fun to walk and discover forgotten buildings and places, he ended up finding a new home near his sacred cave.

In those tales, he talked of walking slow through the new growth of trees and plant that had grow since he had been trapped and had lived in his cave.

30+ years had not been kind to all the abandoned cars and structures still standing after " The Second " sun had exploded that being a rather decent yeild nuke a distance over the horizon.

A few cars and trucks had useable supplies in them, for making fire and light meds of varying benefits as they all were way past expatriation dates printed barely ledgable on their labels.

It took a couple of hours but The Old one found the home the outside survivors reconized him as having lived in when they made contact with him, the den he dug out of a burried partially filled pool behind a mostly collapsed rural home near the greeny river as the ouside survivors new it for the algee it grew on its banks.
