I did finally make it to The Barren Rivers...it took a little longer than two weeks as I traveled the 20miles to walk and dodge dangers of looters and survivors as I got there.

Thought luckily I managed to find some places for supplies as by the end of the second day I was low on water to drink and what little food I had left.

As the first few houses I found where abandoned, and how very little other than meds I could take with me and some tools that would be useful when I managed to find a defensible place to stay the night.

Sadly the third house I found had a deceased owner in it, so out of respect I left it be and touched nothing, as I thought it only respectful to leave it be as it was thier last resting place.

I also found some cars and small / larger vehicles I could with some searching get usable items and some food stuffs out of.

As often they where abandoned and left exactly as they where when the owner wlaked or ran or just plain left thier car or vehicles and thought they would be back or just for a time, ...but they never did.
