24 Hours, Good News, and an Aching Heart
24 Hours

I heard this really nice song on MYX, a local music station in the Philippines, where I live... and I'm like... promoting it everywhere I go. xd

Cueshe is one of the mot prominent bands in the Philippines these days and they came from Cebu!! My friends, who also have their own band, also live in Cebu!! Wahehe!!

Cueshe came from the band's favorite snack which they always eat during practice. Its called banana-cue. It's a native banana coated with caramelized sugar and almost everyone in the Philippines has eaten at least one or two. Its a traditional food and very, very tasty!! 3nodding

*ahem*

Back to what I was saying, 24 Hours is their new song currently playing on MYX, but I haven't heard the song on local radio yet. I dedicate it to my one and only, Paulo!!! heart ...He's on an asian cruise with his family and I really miss him... *sigh*... [Aching Heart]

Good News

I just got the news from my mom that I got 39th place in a group of 1,300+ students who enrolled for a comprehensive review program for the most prestigious test in the Philippines; the UPCAT.

The University of the Philippines is the one school in the Philippines that is most dreaded by all incoming college freshmen. Though UP has the easiest test among all of the colleges, [or so we've been told] it's the hardest to get into because every year, more or less 40000 students apply to take the UPCAT. Unlike other schools which have a fixed cut-off grade for admission, UP has adopted a system where only the best will enter.

Many students enroll in different places for review classes and so far, in my opinion, review classes have been very helpful in preparing for the UPCAT that usually takes place during August... Particularly mine, because they held a simulated UPCAT exam that helps gauge how well you'll do in the actual UPCAT.

Yeah, it's a big deal for me because I want to become a doctor and enroll in the hardest place to enroll. UP Manila. Seeing that I have a good chance of getting a good grade in UPCAT really lifted up my spirits and I'm really relieved.

Aching Heart

Haaaay... I miss my Paulo... cry I can't wait for him to get back... I'm so worried about him... I hope he's alright... I hope he's enjoying his asian cruise with his family... I hope he doesn't meet another girl!!! crying

Ah...the insecurities of a young girl's heart... cry
