So I finally found out what's been going on with Connor today. I guess I've been piecing it together with what I hear, but Hillary actually confirmed it when I asked what had been going on.
Apparently Melissa said that she liked Connor. Over some sort of message. Probably not e-mail, for a reason I don't feel like bothering to go into. Anyway, he said he liked her. What he should have said though, and he said many times today, was that he "wasn't sure". So then apparently they were together or something. I don't know or care very much. Because today I found out that he broke up with her, or whatever you can do that people in the relationship he had with her. Anyway, he did it over an e-mail. And that got my friends pretty mad at him. They thought it was really cold to break up with someone over and e-mail. Plus, there was his reasoning for breaking up with her, that he liked some girl that he'd only talked to for "three hours" or "six hours". One of the two I'm pretty sure. I think her name is Allison, and she's on my friend Chelsey's softball team. He's seen her once in real life, I don't know if he's met her yet in real life. They've supposedly talked though. On My Space. If it wasn't like, an instant messaging thing though, which I don't know if My Space has, then he shouldn't be saying three hours. You can like, make yourself something to eat imbetween replying to a message... Anyway, so they were all unhappy about him breaking up with a girl over an e-mail for someone he'd only talked to online. They kept saying how he shouldn't have done it over an email. He said that it was easier for him, and made him happier. And was talking about how happy he was to have broken up with her. And my friends got more angry with him for being happy about it. "You're supposed to feel bad about breaking up with someone!" they kept telling him, and he just kept saying, "Why? Why?" And would talk about how he wanted to break up with Josie for six months. And then my friends would say how this wasn't about Josie. And Connor would say that he would have been happy if he and Josie had just broken up earlier and it's a good thing that he broke up with Melissa so he didn't have to act like he liked her when he didn't. And they kept saying it was cold of him to do it over an e-mail to make it easier on himself and feel happy about having broken up with her. At that point, I didn't know much of what was going on. It's kind of sad now though.
