1st Place - Splatoon: Inkling
Maybe it's the hype of Splatoon coming out on Friday, but I was happy to see this. I wanted to do one myself but ya beat me to it. Nevertheless, you did the Inkling pretty much every way that I would have done it, so I can't point out any flaws with the character itself. The background is pretty good, though Rakugaki Style fits the actual Splat Arenas better in my opinion. Overall, I loved this entry and it well deserved its placement.

2nd Place - Palutena's Revolting Dinner
I remember this cartoon and this captures the cartoon very well. I would say find a few more vegetable items like the one on Mizuchi's Jewel since that has the cucumber. Too bad there's no Eggplant though. My only other gripe would be the hair since I feel that the darker green shade is closer to her hair.

3rd Place - SSB4 - Shulk (alt)
I'M SORT OF FEELING IT! It's a great cosplay but my only gripe would be the sword which I know there is a better alternative. The background is pretty dynamic given that it matches the Wuhu Island fountain portion of that stage so I give you points for that. I still find this avi funny since I flipped out when I first saw Shulk's swimwear costume in game.

4th Place - Genocider Syo
Hmm…well I don't know Danganronpa well enough, but I can tell that the overall avatar is accurate to the source so, not bad. It doesn't look terribly exciting, but the character's main feature is more the face and hair rather than the clothes, so I can say that you represented the character well. But please, please, please add a background! It's not too hard!

5th Place - Smash 4 - Fierce Deity Palette
I have seen WAY better Fierce Deity Links before and this one is good, but not even remotely exciting. I know it's based on the Smash 4 Palette, but I just feel that if you're gonna do the Fierce Diety, do the actual one from Majora's Mask. Like the entry above, PLEASE ADD A BACKGROUND!

6th Place - FFXII-Fran
Well, it's a great Fran. It's not like I haven't seen a million one of these before and there isn't much difference between the ones I've seen before and this one now. The background does match her "natural" nature so good job on that.

7th Place - Winnie the Pooh
Oh bother…how boring. I know the Animal Base doesn't have much to offer, but still this is a really simple avi that doesn't take any imagination at all. I've already seen numerous other Pooh avis in the arena using the animal base before and they all look the same. The only difference is that you're using the yellow stuffed bear base, which matches the fact that Pooh is a stuffed bear, but in the picture, there is no trace of his stuffed bear nature.

8th Place - Princess of Heart
Ah, I'm used to seeing KH1 Kairi so seeing her KH2 form is a little new. I don't like that the hair and bangs are clearly two different shades, but other than that I think this is a great avi. The background is great to capture Destiny Islands. This was a great entry, congrats!

9th Place - Xenoblade Chronicles - Shulk
I'M REALLY FEELING IT…AGAIN! Overall, this is a fantastic avi…but the coat is not nearly red enough to match the ref. Other than that, everything else is spot on and flawless in my opinion. The background is easily one off the best of the week and…I think I see the red stone in the background. Was that to imitate the Monado? If so, that was really clever and I give you full points whether or not that was the reason for it! It made me think that it was.

10th Place - Hilda- Pokemon B/W, Chargeston
I would say, don't add on Chargestone Cave to the title, you don't need that there. That aside this is a way better Hilda than the one I entered last year, though I question why you didn't use the actual Hilda hair item. The background is also one of the best of the week and it captures Chargestone really well. Overall, excellent job!

Ah, the pains of cosplaying sometime! mad D
Oh and for my wife's avi, she did find an alternative to the hoodie she used in her entry, so she's all good now!
I'm just glad she placed since she'd been working on that Shulk for months!
