Loud music blared in a large room with a large group of people jumping and dancing wildly, it was a dark room with bright neon lights that seem to change with every beat of the music. People were shouting, some were hugging but most were jumping with their fist high up in the air. It smelt of booze and sweat, some parts smelt like piss but there is no doubt that this is the place where Jaime wanted to avoid. She hated dancing and the smell of old wet socks that had been submerged in alcohol for at least a week before rolling in the smell of old men's armpits.
Like the one hundred time, Jaime is forced to be here by her friends who can be seen dancing wildly with a group of men that Jaime did not know. One of her friends took the pole in the center and danced so crazily and disgustingly that Jaime did not hesitate to look away. She stood near the bar, to her, it is the quietest and less smelly place she could find. Even being one minute there, she had been asked to dance by five different male individuals to which she obviously declined. She just wanted to get the hell out of here but because of her friends, she is stuck here.
Jaime waited, to her, it seem like days as her legs ached from wearing shoe-like heels that reached up to her knees that obviously was not her own. She sipped her beer to which she felt that it tasted like bitter water. After a few more hours of standing there, she could not help but feel that she just wanted to leave her friends and take a cab, home. As she was about to leave, she saw her friend that danced with the pole being harassed by a group of men. Jaime stomped towards her and shouted at the group of men.
They laughed it off to which Jaime replied with a punch towards the closest one and he fell back. She grabbed her friends' arm and dragged her other friends' along before hurrying out from the hell hole. Not before she was elbowed by a dancing lunatic on the way out, it hurt like hell and she could not see but hurried off anyway. Finally, she got out but not before getting elbowed in her eye, heart pumping as though it is coming out from her chest and smelt like booze and sweat.
