The outside:
A land with a tiered structure of nobility. Kings manage lords and an emperor presides over the whole thing, over the empire.
This emperor is a rather shadowy figure, not seen by many. But there's one person who does seem to know them personally. Deysim is the person the emperor trusts most. No one knows exactly who she is or how she got to her position. Anyway, as such, she acts as another set of eyes and ears, keeping watch over the nobles and even the emperor's other aides.

-Her social interaction seems a bit unnatural.
-She's textbook polite, but clearly doesn't have a lot of friends. This also makes her a bit detached.
