Reading.... We read so much.. They said it was to help.. How? How is reading better then feeling? How can we sit and read about these.... Creatures.... Yet not see them exist? My Master saw my discomfort easily.. He knew it all too well..

I followed him into an odd shaped room.. I'd seen this shape before... An egg? A machine stood in its center.. As he approached, a word was spoken and in a flash of light we stood in an open field.. It was night on Gaia.. The stars filled the sky.. A planet shown bright around her....
"What is that, Master?" I point at it... It was the most gorgeous light I'd ever seen...
"No Z.. She's there for a reason... She belongs to another.. But you may look.. No harm in looking.."
"As..... As you wish..." The words tasted bitter....
