As Launde held the lantern, idea Mr Tolouse started to carefully pick and dig at the edge of the pit he had dug exclaim and slowly started to make contact with a buried object. eek

"I believe......I have something here Ms Launde" eek as he slowly had a wooden structure exclaim the length of it at first several feet long and then slowly as he managed to find its length 7 feet long. surprised

"Mr Tolouse, is it....what I think it is, a coffin or perhaps a ruff hewn wooden box?" surprised as her eyes grew wide eek trying and squinting to see as he picked and dug around the wood structure. whee

He managed after a few moments which felt like forever, sweatdrop to find the depth of the wooden box or coffin to be almost 6 or 7 inches height and of pine which had survived its time in the Earth well. 3nodding

"There is no doubt Mr Tolouse, it must be The Great Sages Bodyguard "Copper !" biggrin

He was concentrating on what he was doing so hard he didnt even hear her last few words, stare as he finally managed to un-cover the entire length and width as if you were looking at a small wooden wall 8 x 6 or 7 inches. cool

"Mr Tolouse !" she got down beside him and gave him a shake to bring him to his senses. mad

"We must be respectful, he was after all one of The Great Sages Children and this is his burial site." she looked at his sternly cool "At least we shall give him a prayer and assure him or his spirit we mean no harm." 3nodding

Mr Tolouse nodded 3nodding and smiled biggrin "Exactly, he was one of The Great Sage's Children so we should be understand that he was a loved one of his." 3nodding

So both Launde and Mr Tolouse said a small prayer emotion_yatta that was honest and let the spirit of "Copper" know they meant no harm, emotion_hug that they promised to re-bury him immediately after they saw inside the his coffin and not to remove anything from him. 3nodding

After they finished the prayer Launde and Mr Tolouse took a deep breath and looked at the wooden side of the coffin.

Slowly Mr Tolouse worked to open a corner of the wodden coffin spreading the wood idea seeing small metal spikes which were the remains of nails pulling away with the boards, exclaim and then gently one top board started to come loose and Mr Tolouse caught it emotion_brofist and gently laid it in the bottom of the pit which he was kneeling. 3nodding

Looking and leaning in towards the opening they saw "Copper" eek his skin had aged as it would naturally, 3nodding and had the green coating that comes with aged copper that is protecting itself from water and dirt. mrgreen

They both smiled and nodded, 3nodding and Launde spoke gently 4laugh "Copper, I apologize for disturbing your sleep but I have a question thought I dont know if you can answer me or not" her smile fell a bit. sweatdrop

"My Father was cursed by touching your heart which Im sure Dr Krouse found and was going to us for revenge and his own fame and fortune, scream I ask Copper, where is your Master....Father The Great Sage?" sweatdrop as she looked into the coffin at copper's remains.

Mr. Tolouse looked to Launde as if to answer back that there would be no reply, sad but just then a light flickered in the coffin eek and a small bit of that flicker started to move and then fly up from Copper's remains. eek

"A fire-fly? How could such a thing be buried in the ground?" burning_eyes she wondered in her mind, surprised and then it flew out and around her head and also his and then landed on her shoulder, 4laugh and then a flash like watching moving pictures in her mind. wahmbulance

"Child...Child Of Man" said a very old and strange voice in a very rustic dialect, pirate :Child of Man, you have shown my Child respect and for this I shall help you for I can see the thoughts in your mind and your distress." 3nodding

The pictures where moving so fast sweatdrop and then started to slow, "A man, a very old man in a long flowing robe, the color ...well the colors changed once crimson red, then azure blue, then leafy green every changing" 4laugh

"Child, I am of great age as you know so I cannot come to you, but I can show you the way to get to this place, I shall tell my remaining children to help you and aid your journey" as he gave her the brightest and warmest smile. biggrin

"Remember when all seems lost or the path impassible, not everything is at it seems and magic may yet light the way" biggrin as he bowed he nodded and gestued as if waving and Launde came to her sense with Mr. Tolouse standing over her helping her get up off the ground.
