Sparrow and Blythe
"Oof!" Sparrow was hit by a pole, that Cinderblock use to take a swing at her.
"Sparrow!" yelled Starfire as she watched Sparrow go flying into the air without the help of her wings.
When Sparrow got hit by the pole, her body went numb as she wasn't able to save herself by flight. She was about to smash right into the ground when someone had popped out of shadows of the night and caught her. Quickly, did she look to her savier as he body felt conscouse again and saw a boy. Meeting his masked eyes through his black hood. "Are you alright?" he asked.
Than Cinderblock ran right for the boy and was about to hit him with the same pole but, the young man had dodge strike in time. Still hanging onto Sparrow. The Titans were astonish at the boy's quick reflexes, dodging the blow of Cinderblock. Then the strange boy put Sparrow on the fire escape of an apartment and took out a large sledgehammer with the crest of the Hunter's Moon on the stone hammer head and blocked the stone's man attack. The pole had been bent and Cinderblock was mad. He roared out in anger and threw the pole in the direction of innocent people.
Raven had blocked the attack in time by putting up a force feild. "Run!" she shouted to the people. Cyborg and Nightwing stepped in to help the people scurry out of danger while Starfire and Beast Boy and flown in Sparrow's direction. "Sparrow?! Are you-" as Starfire was about to ask when her sister Blackfire showed up on the scene and punched Star in the gut. Then throwing Star into the building.
"Starfire!" shouted Nightwing. Waisting no time by rushing to assist his wife.
"Mother!" shouted Sparrow.
Beast Boy was about to jump Blackfire as green gorilla when as masked female cat girl appeared and wrapped her whip around his neck. "Bad Monkey!" she teased in a laugh. Then pulling Beast Boy's now heavy wait in his direction. "Jesus! He's Fat!" struggling. The girl was than, blown off her feet as she was standing on the railing of stairs above Sparrow with a guest of wind. Causing her to release her hold on the green one.
"Bad Kitty!" shouted Sparrow.
The cat girl hissed and coiled her whip around Sparrow's right wrist. Saving herself from a fall. Sparrow stubbornly stood her ground, trying to keep her blance on the fire escape to not fall over the railing. Beast Boy would of helped her if Sparrow hadn't said, "Don't worry about me. Help Mother!" He nods and throws his gorilla self on Blackfire while Nightwing rushed to Starfire's side.
"Starfire," speaking softly in worry.
"I am alright," she smiles. Regain concousness.
"Good!" he smiles. Then hearing the scream of their eldest daughter, Sparrow.
"Sparrow!" Nightwing and Starfire shouted. Rushing to the scene to see Sparrow fall over the railing with the cat girl.
As the boy hit Cinderblock with his sludgehammer which send the block head flying into the roof of Lex Corps than, saved Sparrow from her fall before being able to use her wings to fly. The cat girl hits the roof of Cyborg's car. As for Blackfire, she had been thrown onto the ground by Raven. The boy had one arm wrapped around Sparrow's waist and shot a string to the railing of the same fire escape and swung them both back there. He wore a black hooded top, brown pants, brown gloves and boots, and a black mask. Attached to his belt was a sheathed sword and his back held the sludgehammer. "You alright Miss?" he asked.
Sparrow wore a white dress with a dark brown bird planted on her chest and black sashed belt wrapped around her waist with a pink pearl, dark brown gloves and healed boots, black chest plate armor, and mask. Her angelic wings turned back into a light brown cape. The two just stood there staring at one another. "Who are you?" she asked instead of answering him. Then Cyborg points out that Blackfire and Silentshadow had disappeared. "What!" gasped Sparrow with the other Titans.
"Let's just worry about Cinderblock. I want him locked away then we'll search for the other two," said Nightwing.
"Sounds good," said Beast Boy. Leaving with Cyborg to tie up Cinderblock until the cops arrived.
"You can call me Saiph", answered the boy. as he bowed to her. Sparrow looked back at him with her parents and Raven watching. "And what is your name?" he asked politely.
"Oh!" blushed Sparrow. "My name... My name is Sparrow," she replied.
Then he asked her, "Why is such a pretty girl like you wearing a mask? Sparrow?" Sparrow was caught off by his compliment and blushed again. Then snapping herself out of it by lifting a brow at his question.
"Funny," she smirks. "I can ask you the same thing," pointing
"You are right," he chuckles.
"Thank you for saving my daughter," spoke Nightwing. Breaking the silence as he could not stand the scene between the two. Were they flirting? Oh! Poor Daddy Nightwing.
"Oh! Yes! We are very greatful," smiles a jubilent red hair mother. Starfire flies to stand with her husband.
"It is my pleasure," bowed the young man.
Raven watched him curiously without speaking a word. He had caught her glance and gave a cough. "Well!" suddenly handing a rose out for Sparrow. "I miss say my farewells. I do hope we meet again," he smiles.
Sparrow then takes the rose as she continued to be flustered. "Thank you," she smiles. Then watches Saiph climb up the fire escape. As she watched him climb up, Sparrow suddenly felt this weird urge and ran after Saiph, "Wait!" Her actions had brought all the attention on her as she chased after the boy. But, when she reached the roof of the building, he was gone.
"Who was that boy?" Cyborg asked out loud. Finally handing Cinderblock over to the cops.
"Who knows," said Beast Boy. He too watched the scene from affar. Curious to why Sparrow had ran after him. Did she know him?
"Sparrow," said Starfire. Surprise to see her daughter chase after that young man. As if she knew him.
"Raven?" asked Nightwing. Noticing his friend's expression.
"There is... something off about him. I don't know what but, something tells me that's not the last we've seen of him," answered Raven.
The Titans returned home after a long evening of trying to search the city for Blackfire and Silentshadow but nothing. They were no where to be scene. So, Nightwing sat with Cyborg at the dinning table chatting about where their villains could of ran off to. Beast Boy sat with the kids playing video games in the living room. He was playing against his and Raven's son Azar and Cyborg's adoptive boy with wife Sarah, Vincent. Emerald, Beast Boy and Raven's daughter was listening to her ipod, jamming in her seat. Sarah was the only one not home because of work.
Starfire had joined Raven in hers and Beast Boy's bedroom, talking about what happened. "You believe there is something strange about the boy?" she asked. "Like something bad?"
Raven waved her hand over Star, still checking for any injuries that was inflicted on Starfire during battle. "I'm not sure. His vibe, his energy seemed off. Almost confused," she explained.
"Raven. I am fine," putting her friend's hand down.
"I just had to make sure since you and Nightwing are planning to have another baby. Your body also has to be well enough," then touching her own growing stomach. It was small right now since Raven was only two months pregnant.
"And how is you're growing bumgorf?" asked Starfire. Smiling down at Raven's belly.
"Peachy," asnwered Raven. Then sitting herself next to Star. She sighs, "I worry about Sparrow. The way she ran after him was-"
"As if she knew him but-"
"I can tell she didn't. But, I did feel a connection clicking between them both," shared Raven.
"I too worry. As if know somthing strange is going to happen with..." paused Starfire. "I believe that is what you call the mother's intuition. Yes?"
"A feeling that you are familiar with," replied Raven.
Nightstar, Nightwing and Starfire's biological daughter lays on her stomach on Sparrow's pink bed. Kicking the air. Sparrow had just shared her experience with Saiph with her sister. "How romantic," sighs Nightstar happily. Finding the story so cute. "Especailly the way you ran after him after being given the rose," looking at the rose in Sparrow's hand. She was indeed her mother's daughter.
Sparrow stared out her big glass window, looking up into the starry night sky. Thinking about that boy. "I wonder who he really is? Where is he from?" she asked out loud.
"Do you think you'll see him again?" asked Nightstar. Hopping to her knees. Green eyes widening.
"I do hope so," replied Sparrow. Smelling the rose's sweet scent.
"Job well done," clapped a woman. Watching her hired help walk into the room.
"Ah, it was a peice of cake," said Silentshadow. Sitting herself on a table, playing with her whip.
"And the boy did an excellent job," said Blackfire. Leaning against the same table Silentshaodw sat on.
"I saw," smiles the shadow covered woman who sat in a thrown made of bronze gold. "You're father will be so proud. Blythe."
"It was nothing," spoke the same black hooded young man.
"Saiph?" asked Slade. Walking out of the shadows.
"Had to give her name if I wanted her to trust me," smirked Blythe.
"As if the rose wasn't enough," said Silentshadow.
Blythe then glared at the cat girl and she glared back. Hissing. Smacking the tip of her whip on the ground. "Relax children," sighed the shadow covered woman who stood up from her seat. "Blythe did exactly what I wanted," eyeing Silentshadow. She stepped into the light to reveal her bird feet and feathered black wings. She wore a black bustier that exposed from shoulders down her chest to belly and had a bronze gold circlet wrapped around her head with a gemstone. Blackfeather. "Keep this up and you'll get what you diserve," she told Blythe.
"Perfect," smiled Blythe.
"That's of course if you succeed by bringing the girl here," said Slade.
Later, while everyone was in bed asleep did Blythe lay in bed awake. His thoughts kept him from sleep. Blythe could not help but to think about Sparrow, the Titan girl. His job is to have Sparrow trust him enough to bring her into the hands of evil, Blackfeather's hand. He is to charm her but, it appears that Sparrow has somehow charmed Blythe himself. What about her was so important?
