I was a student at this arts college. I was a dancer, and my best friend was a musician/singer.
It was late evening, and I was practicing in the studio, when the lights dimmed as my cue to pack up and head home. I wanted to finish my routine, so I kept dancing, but when I went into a pose, the shadow in the mirror became darker, and held the pose long after I had finished. It was like a delayed shadow. I went into another pose, and the same thing happened. I became scared and called for my friend, and frantically kept pointing at the mirror and telling her to watch. She did, and I struck a silly pose, and it did the same thing, only this time it came out of it before I did, and started to walk out of the mirror. It opened it's eyes, and was just this black figure with eye whites and black pupils. We both ran and slammed the door behind us. We didnt stop until we were outside the brick building, in an alleyway of the city. I wondered if I was crazy, and she said she saw it took. We both had been working hard for the school festival that was coming up, with lots of performances, but we both couldnt' have the same delusion, right? I hadn't even explained what happened, just, "watch this".
We went to go wait for our bus, and when we got on, we found ourselves actually on an airplane, en route to east Asia.
We were lost, and confused, how could we both be having the same nightmare? We found a cheap hotel and tried to recollect our bearings. At one point, and I don't remember how, my friend jokingly sold herself to the devil. So then we were chased by demons.
We abandoned the hotel after it became haunted and found a small charm shop. We explained (briefly, and as sanely as we could) the situation to the lady at the counter, and she found us some incense, some paint to put on our bodies, and some charms. They followed us into the shop, despite her runes, and I stole a priest's staff to scare them off. It worked enough for us to get away.
We wandered the city at night until sunrise, when there was this concert/festival being set up. We took refuge under the bleachers near the stage to try and rest for a moment, but the stage suddenly came alive with fireworks and flames and my friend's favorite band on stage. She wanted to go see them, but I didn't feel right about it, and stopped her. The fireworks and flames started to spread, until meteors were falling, and had to dodge and take shelter.
The Devil, disguised as the main singer of the band, called to my friend, saying that he thought this would have been gentler for her; she had made a contract, why would she not honor it? He didn't understand.
I tried to think of a way out; but as I started to ponder if, worst case scenario, he would accept me instead of her, if I could pay off her debt and he'd leave her alone, my husband woke me up.
