On april 20th, i met my birth mom for the first time in 22 years. She brought with her, her husband (Not my Bio dad.) and her two children, my biological siblings. (We have different dads, but from the same mother.) When i mailed her a letter a month and a half prior to her visit, i had no idea what to expect. Turns out, the crazy apple doesn't fall too far from the crazy tree. My biological brother and I share what is known as Asperger's Syndrome, it gives us both crazy focus and obsession. (Like i will repeat an awesome song over and over and over.) Like myself he is quiet and very analytical. If you looked at us side by side, you can totally tell we are related, which my parents pointed out. (Never ever had anyone say that before which i found awesome.) The youngest is my biological sister. Like myself she loves to run ahead, and shares my want to explore. From my observations she likes to play and be active. (She's 8 so it makes sense.) My birthmom is gentle and reserved, like most of her family. (I can be very reserved too, but im pretty chatty if someone talks to me.) All in all it was a pleasant visit, we went to the beach and explored. We visited fort casey and saw the old canons and hid in the old bunkers. We went out to pizza the first day and out to a bar and bistro the second day. (Where i dominated in darts. *evil laugh* )
While making plans for her visit, her sister adds me on facebook. We talked and it's the darndest thing, we are both evil masterminds. (There is a saying that most children get their awesomeness from their aunt/uncles. It's safe to say that it's true. >: D )
At the end of our visit i'm invited to a family reunion that is coming up in July, it should be interesting. Me and my aunt plan on pulling pranks. *twirls evil mustache*
