Shadow Cloud
Just finished Di[e]ce
I just finished reading this really awesome manga called Di[e]ce... It was really great though actually, technically, I've only 'read' through the first four and a half volumes because that's all that's been translated online.I managed to get all six volumes that are out in Japan, but of course they're in Japanese and I'm only starting to learn Japanese. I know very little.
So, I couldn't really finish it but I did stare at every single one of the pictures and finished it that way.
The ending was odd but good. Everyone was okay in the end because the Di[e]ce got erased so everyone who died didn't actually die. I like that. I was really sad when Ruka and Yuki died, and when Sion died too, but he came back to life after Kazuki did I have no idea what.
The most depressing part was when Kazuki actually died. After seeing Yuki dead and realized that Haruki has killed him, Kazuki picked up a sword and challenged Haruki.
Now let me pause to explain: Haruki and Kazuki are as close as two friends can be. They grew up together and are practically brothers, Haruki said he could never kill Kazuki and Kazuki feels the same. However, Haruki had kinda gone insane, but he still wouldn't kill Kazuki even though he had already killed Ruka and Yuki.
When they started going towards each other with their weapons (Haruki had a dagger and Kazuki had Yuki's sword), Kazuki aims the sword to the side so it would miss Haruki and he grabs the knife Haruki was holding and forces it into himself, also forcing Haruki to keep holding onto the knife because he kept Haruki's hand on the knife with his own.
That way, it's like Haruki killed Kazuki, even though he was never going to. Then, I'm not so sure what happened, but I guess it was because Kazuki died in that way that his ancestor(one who had died in the last Di[e]ce at the hand of his older brother) was more or less able to come back and he and his older brother (who had been trying to bring the younger brother back ever since he died) were able to more or less erase the Di[e]ce. It's like the Di[e]ce never happened, so nobody died and life went on as normal. On the day that the Di[e]ce had started (on Haruki and Kazuki's 16th birthday, yes, they share a birthday), the Di[e]ce never happened so life went on and they celebrated their birthdays like they were going to. It also shows everyone who died alive again so you know that everyone was fine after all...

I don't know if everything that had happened before the Di[e]ce, like Ruka and Yuki's powers (which they were born with) still happened since the Di[e]ce itself never happened. I don't know if Sion and Gara were still trained when they were little or anything. I just don't know. It was never specified. Maybe when the translators finish and upload the rest of the chapters in English, I'll know.

If you want to read the manga, which you should because it's really awesome, it's called Di[e]ce and you can find it on mangareader.net or mangahere.com.
