First things first: guides for Astal as well as both the NES and Super NES versions of Mario Is Missing! all done. I'm still working on Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and I'm now about to start a guide for Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers 2. Yep, the CnDRR game for NES got a sequel late in the NES's lifespan (1993, actually), and while it doesn't have all the charm of the first game, it's still worth checking out since they do a few things the first game doesn't.
Anyway, I got a laptop last Saturday. It's a netbook, and it only have 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, but it's got Intel Atom 1.6 GHz dual core. As long as I don't do more than one system-intensive task at a time, this bad boy will have it where it counts. I'll try to upgrade to a full-blown laptop in the next year, complete with 4 GB of RAM, even more HDD space (I currently have 320 GB, which is more than enough for what I do), a built-in CD/DVD-R drive and - hopefully - Windows 8.
What does this mean? Besides more time to get stuff done six days a week (I'm knocked back down to that since I left "the facility" wink , I also get to work on LPs on a second YouTube account. I've switched the e-mail accounts on both my primary and secondary YouTube accounts, so I'll be able to link the new Blogger blog to it and move all the GameTrailers blog material over there...and put the new stuff on it once I'm caught up!
Also, the library is closed next Monday and I don't have the Internet at the house yet. ClipConverter Desktop, don't fail me now!
