Okay, my computer's doing this weird thing where it won't type double letters. (but you just did!)
It's a little more complicated than that. If I want to do something double, I have to type the first in the pair, then wait about two seconds, then type the second. As a quick typer, it really throws me out. Badly. But it also means that when I'm not thinking about it, I often miss double letters, and just leave it as a single, creating spelling errors that really piss me off.
And it's not just the letter keys. It's EVERY SINGLE KEY. If I want to backspace more than once quickly and effectively, I can't. Noooooo.
But I've figured out that I can use the 'shift' key to my advantage, because it doesn't actually visibly DO something. I press it between the two e's in 'between' back there, and it counts as pressing another key and suddenly its not double. You just can't press a key twice in the same second. Which is so hell annoying, seriously it's driving me mental.
You try having to press 'shift' between all your double letters. Or any double. If I want to manually backspace this whole body of text, I will have to go backspace-shift-backspace-shift-backspace-shift- etc as fast as I can. Here's the challenge. You do this. Try it, I dare you. By the end of the day you will be at your wits end and all your typing skills will be out the window. Seriously, I can't even type properly anymore. I don't even know how this happened! I gave my computer to my mum for like two frickin seconds and it comes back to me like this, with her complaining that it won't type properly. HURRAY!!!!!
