I'm going to try again... 100 miles on my bike in August. At the very least, maybe I'll lose another 5 pounds! wink

100.2 miles total - I made my goal for August! biggrin

I had been having trouble charging my phone. I'd plug it in and it just wouldn't charge unless I used a rubber band to hold the cord in a sweet spot. I was able to limp it along for quite some time doing this - then last week it just decided it wasn't going to cooperate anymore. Nothing I did would make the battery take a charge. I tried different cords - no dice. Without my phone, I had to use a different site to manually map out my rides and calculate the mileage. That was a pain in the a**, but because I couldn't afford a new phone I had little choice if I wanted to keep track.
Then I discovered the existence of external cell phone battery chargers. Sure you have to pull the battery out of the phone to charge it, but it's a lot less complicated than figuring out what position the cord wants to be in on any given day.
So I ordered one. It arrived today and it worked! Yay! I have my phone back!
Now if it would just stop raining so I can go for a ride...
