Ah, happy new year, journal readers! sweatdrop Sorry (?) it's been so long.
Yesterday I went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D (yep, insert whatever 'loser' comment you like here) and there was a poster for "The Secret World of Arrietty", which immediately caught my attention because:
1) it pictured a tiny girl in a human size world (who I first thought was a fairy, which is always fun)
2) it said Disney on top
3) it said Studio Ghibi right under that
All in all meaning it was on my list of things to go see. xd
And then, once in the theater (theatre? oh, the spellings of that word) they showed the advertisement for it. It turns out that "The Secret World of Arrietty" is based on The Borrowers books, which was one of my favorite book series as a kid. I'm so excited!!! blaugh
I burst out into a huge grin the minute she said "borrower" and exclaimed (quietly, since it was in the theater) that I read those books! I think I may have embarrassed my friends, but oh well. xd
