I sink beneath the crimson sea,
Away from the world that cast me aside;
Away from the furious wave crashing above me.
I'm pulled further away from the surface
Where the sun is barely a shimmer;
Dragged towards the fears I refused to face.
Starved of air, I'm yearning
For my sins to fill my lungs.
I know I'll take pleasure in the burning.
Tangled in the mass of unfufilled dreams,
But I don't bother to tear free,
And I know no one will hear my silenced screams.
