Maybe this isn't the best place for someone as sensitive as I am. Perhaps I should just stick to my single player lifestyle.

I am tired of seeing people call each other morons, dumbasses, idiots, etc. all over a simple mistake that another person makes. It just really freakin' sucks! They often say things like, "It's people like you who make me lose hope in humanity" or "Are you really that stupid? The answer is __, idiot."
You know what makes me lose hope in humanity (har har - I'm not serious, but it does upset me a great deal)? Seeing behavior like this! It's just so sad to see people treated this way.
Being ignorant does not make someone a moron. You can easily fix ignorance.
I get that we always want to make ourselves look smart, but putting someone else down so hard is not the way to go about it. Why can't we just settle for looking smart instead of smarter?

I saw the "5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 x 0 = ?" thing circulating on Facebook and made the horrid mistake of reading the comments (you'd think I would have learned by now to never read the comments on something like this, but nope!).
Seriously, this was one of the responses: "Alright you dumb ********, yes, anything times 0 is 0. Now, what's 15 + 0? I hope all of you dumb ******** who answered 0 are flipping burgers, you shouldn't even be allowed to tie your own goddamn shoes. ********, I really lose hope in humanity when people can't perform basic algebra."
Another said something to the effect of, "You shouldn't even be allowed on Facebook." :/
