Chapter 1
Ven
As the bell rang for school to get out for the final day of school,i sighed.For once,i was sad on the final day of school.This was only because of one reason,I wasn't able to talk to her.I walked through the halls and out the doorway into the bright sunshine.How much longer till i see her again?Only time will tell about this.
My name is Ven Kainz,i live with my father in a sort of "Shrine" like house.It is only me and Father that live in the house,My mother died at birth.My Father's name,Hack Kainz.We live a normal life here in the "Shrine",until he came anyways.
As i walked into the house,i noticed nobody was home,but i had an odd feeling that somebody was home."Dad!I'm Home!"I shouted.No answer.I walked around the house until i came to the garden,there,i saw a man,and a fox,but,it was too big to be a fox,so...what was it?
The man in the garden wasn't a normal man,you could tell just by looking at him.He had rugged teeth,and a jaw that didn't seem like it belonged there for it gave him a horrid look.He even had a tail...but why?"Wait....what's going on here?"I said.And then,the fox looked at me and said one simple word."Son..."Then i realized,that giant fox....was my father.
I rushed to my father's side and then looked at the man in front of me."SO....YOU BROUGHT YOUR OWN SON INTO OUT FIGHT....PITIFUL....I WILL DESTROY BOTH YOU...AND HIM."The man shouted."No....im not allowing you to hurt him...for you will die....here and now."Father said.Then the man laughed."FOOL!YOU DARE TO DEFY ME!SATAN!THE KING OF DEMONS!"Satan....that was who he was."NOW....I GUESS YOUR SON SHALL DIE FIRST!"
All i remember is a flash of light...and then hearing these words."Son...get the swo-"Father said before collapsing onto the ground....lifeless,and cold as stone in winter.I began to cry,first my mother...and not my father.I had no other family left...but Father wants me to live.So his death shall not be in vain.
I ran into the house and threw open screen doors until i reached the Kitchen.There,inside a closet,was the sword Father told me to get.I then ran out to the courtyard,where Satan was waiting.
"Why did you kill him!"I shouted towards him."I WISH TO RID THE WORLD OF ALL THAT IS PURE BOY!STARTING WITH YOU AND YOUR FATHER!"Satan then began to laugh,and he looked at me....and i stared him right in his pitch black eyes.Eyes....full of hate."YOU DON'T BELONG TO THIS REALM....NOR DO YOU BELONG TO THE REALM OF THE DEMONS!I SHALL SEND YOU TO THE REALM OF OUTCASTS NOW!"Satan grabbed his own arm,tore it off,and threw it to the ground,the hand then melted and formed a white gate on the ground around me.It started to pull me through,and i noticed my tears had stopped.The only feeling in my heart right now was Hatred....Hatred towards Satan.
"I'm afraid i can't go just yet...."I shouted as i grabbed the sword on my back,ripped it from it's sheath,and sliced downwards,killing the man Satan had possessed,and destroying the gateway he had created.I looked at the sky...a faint sunlight was withing the sky....morning...already?
I began to lift up the sword to put it back in the sheath...but it was too heavy.After trying for a few hours,i noticed the end of the blade had gotten lighter...but how?I looked up and noticed that she was standing there,her name was Erika,and she was the one i was in love with.Her eyes were like diamonds,and her hair flowed with the gentle breeze.She helped me lift up the sword,and then place it on my back.
"Why are you here?"I asked."Well....i was walking by....and i saw the man in front of your with only half his arm....and you sinking into the ground....so i got a little worried..."She said,she then looked away,her cheeks turning red."But then you saw me cleave the man in two...aren't you scared of me now?""No...i'm not scared of you."I looked at her in shock,it was as ifa burden was lifted from these shoulders,that nobody else could free me from.
I smiled and then looked downwards...there....i noticed something with a white tip,and a sort of orange body.I screamed and then looked around to my backside.I have a tail?Since when was that there?Erika was looking at me as if i was crazy,so i tried to explain it to her.
"So your saying you have a tail?""Yes,i do....i swear it!""As crazy as it may seem...i believe you...I don't see anything there....but i will still believe you."She said."Good..."I said as we embraced,i accidently cut her arm a bit with my new claws,but not enough to hurt her to where it will not heal without aid.
She looked down and then noticed it...the tail."Ven....is that what you were talking about?""Yea...i haven't had it up until now..."I said,she looked at me and then laughed."Okay."I then took her hand in mine,and we started walking the streets.
Nobody said anything about my tail,so i assumed me and Erika were the only ones able to see my tail,odd.As we walked in front of a tall building,i noticed a large crowd of people looking up.Somebody committing suicide?It wasn't unheard of...but still...odd.I then noticed a shadow was forming over me.I pushed Erika a little bit out of the way so she wouldn't get hurt if i broke the fall,and i looked up as right before the man jumping landed on me.This isn't going to end well....
