]The air was sickening.
"What is this... feeling...?" I thought to myself as Makina walked in.
I hesitated at first.
Makina, a few feet away from me, noticed my hesitation and said,"Come on, Mizuki. Hurry up. We don't have time for this."
I urged my feet to move, but my legs froze up.
Makina sighed,"Fine. Stay there as long as you like."
She started walking away, and I cringed.
"Audrey... come..." I heard the voice hiss.
I felt a stinging sensation moving from my hand up my arm, and curling at my shoulder.
"Ugh..." I bit my tongue so none of the soldiers or scientists were bothered.
"Come..."
I shook my head, and screamed in my mind,"STOP IT!"
The burning/stinging sensation stopped, leaving me in an awkward position at the lab door.
I straighten up, and shrugged,'What the hell.."
I regained control over my body and walked. As I stepped closer to the Whisper, the air got more and more thick; suffocating.
I see Makina standing over a large clear canister. Black rays of light shone brightly from it.
"Finally, Mizuki." I saw Makina shake her head.
I walk over and stand next to her.
I stare down at it...
A black curved sword, sharp and powerful like a dagger. Masses of black vines wrapped around a clear crystal like shard.
"Ah...," I hear the voice hiss,"Audrey! I see you have come!"
"Shut up. I don;'t know who or what you are, but I won't fall for any of your tricks!"
I felt a burning pain in my side.
"Ugh!" I fall to the ground, holding my torso in pain.
"Stop...!" I choke out.
"Mizuki!" Makina placed her arms around me protectively.
"Tsk, tsk. Such a nuisance. No matter... You will face your destiny. It was foretold in the prophecy!" the voice growled.
"Get us out of here!" Makina ordered a nearby solider.
She nodded, and helped Makina carry me out of there.
The burning was so intense...
My throat was getting tighter and tighter, as if I had eaten something I was allergic to.
"Take us to the hospital...NOW!" Makina screamed.
I cringed in pain.
At that moment, I hear a vehicle approaching. It came to a screeching halt. I hear running. Makina and the other solider lay me down on the road.
"What happened?" I hear an unknown voice.
"We were in the palace and all of a sudden she started acting like-" I cut Makina off with a "UGH!"
"That!" she completed her sentence.
"Here, we're gonna have to check her. Where does it hurt?" I recognized the uniform she was wearing. The unknown voice was a female doctor.
I cringed.
"We are going to have to take your shirt off..." ( Mizuki has bandages all over different parts of her body , and one of them is wrapped around her chest )
The Doctor does so, and I hear a gasp. My vision is getting foggy and I can barely breathe.
'She's been cut by a poisonious weapon..!'
" what!"
"Hurry up and get her to the hospital!"
My torso stings.
After that, it was all a blur.
I remember being carried... placed on a soft bed... Im guessing a transport to the hospital. All was blurry, but one thing. I saw a flash of blue and black. My vision clears and I see the boy. He stared at me with a shocked expression. I stare and concentrate on him through my eye holes in my mask.
"Blake... do you know who I am?"
I feel movement and air rush over and under me.
I'm on my way to the hospital...
