Yesterday was the first time I ever went to Anime Expo! It was in L.A.
We got there about 11 and waited in line for about an hour and a half. There were literally thousands of people there. So many cosplayers and hundreds of stands! I seen about 20 Hatsune Mikus! Costumes were just amazing and exact!
I was going to cosplay as a Moogle but I thought it would have been too hot inside. But surprisingly, it was cool there. They had air conditioning! And it was super crowded where you couldn't breathe. There were a lot of art stands, and when I talked to a girl who did the art, she told me that anyone could buy a stand and sell art all day.

Charles and me ate a chicken wrap and drank some Ramune for Lunch. We were on our feet for like 10 hours the entire day. Bought buttons, cell phone charms, a Miku Hello Kitty T-shirt, and some figurines. I took a picture of a cosplayer and was about to walk away until she said "Hey don't you go to B.C.? I took a Japanese class with you!" It was pretty cool to see her there! Her name is Jaden and she said that was like her fifth time there. lol. She was surprised it was my first time though.

I had a good time and Charles also loved it. We only spent 200 dollars through the entire day, and that includes when we went to Little Tokyo after the Expo. The only thing I didn't get to do was see the first ever in America Hatsune Miku concert since it was sold out. But I hope she comes soon so I can see her. I'm saving money so we can go next year and I'm cosplaying as Kotoko from Chobits! So excited! heart
