Ginger's look into science/psychology
This journal will be filled with my findings as i spend my summer researching deeply into the wonderful worlds of science and psychology. This is merely for fun.
My View on evolution.
While evolution is a very solid theory it still has cracks. Yes i believe in a scientific mind but i also follow the view of creationism.

As Charles Darwin (see here if you arent familiar.) discovered evolution and natural selection people began to lean towards the more scientific findings.
Awesome/helpful site.

Did we evolve from monkeys? I do not think so. Although we closely resemble them think of it as this, When u play sims most of your people/things look alike. so that they match. Think of earth as one giant sims game and God simply made us match.

I have called this principle, by which each slight variation, if useful, is preserved, by the term Natural Selection.
- Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species

Natural selection- in lame mans terms, is when a species (say a grass hopper) needs to survive. say these grasshoppers are green. when the grass is green these grasshoppers cannot be found by birds, thus they are plump from thriving so long. any yellow grass hoppers will die in the green grass because a bird will see it.

say the grass dies, the birds will see the green ones and not the yellow ones. because the yellow ones will blend in. the birds will eat the green ones and leave the yellow ones to live

say a green and a yellow grass hopper have 2 babies. one is green one is yellow. the grass gets greener and the yellow mommy dies. the yellow baby grass hopper will also die. this eliminates the yellow gene from the gene pool. the gene pool is all the genes in an area. so in your yard the genes are yellow or green. when all the yellow ones die out only green is left. if the grass turns yellow and all the green grass hoppers die, this species of grass hoppers becomes extinct.

say your yard does not supply enough food for these grasshoppers, the smallest ones will die and the strongest or most adapted will live. so the ones that can get food faster and easier will live, passing this trait down to their offspring. this will cause the gene pool to become specifically adapted to your yard. if any of these grasshoppers ended up somewhere else with different surroundings ,they would most likely die.

this is just a basic look into natural selection.

This is a helpful 7 series set of videos about evolution and natural selection.
This video also helps describe what exactly what a theory is.
