My love for you is like a rose, sweet and pure, strong and bold.
The petals are my softness, alluring and gentle
Showing you my innocence as well as my soul.
The thorns are my protection to keep me safe and sound.
Guarding me from evil and from potential harm.
The stem is where my strength is to keep me standing tall
never allowing winds and storms to break me so I fall.
All of this is what i am and nothing can change this.
But you, just you standing there makes my fortess fall
Tumbleing away as a cannonball would to a sturdy wall.
You see me for who i am and still you love me so.
And with this i say my love for you is like a rose.
And will for ever be yours to hold.
