Okay, so I had YET ANOTHER Tales of Symphonia dream. I'm obsessed, I admit it! And I just can't stop reading fanfiction about Lloyd and Kratos.
Father/son fluff mind you. Not yaoi/incest. That's just...gross. -shivers-
Okay, anyway. So this was all in anime form, despite the fact that I've never SEEN the anime. (I want dubs dangit!) And it was a scene from a fanfic called "From Yesterday into Tomorrow". Cruxis!Lloyd, very well done. It was a little after Kratos gets Yuan to pretend to be a boat captain so they can get to some warp place...probably the Tower of Salvation. They stop at some island to rest, an island with a really huge tree. (Think the Mana Tree from Secret of Mana) Kratos thinks it's time to tell Raine who Yuan really is, and the blue-haired half-elf is tired of the deception anyway. So Yuan leads Raine away (to the tree), turns around, and says "I've been keeping secrets". Raine smiles and says "You're free Yuan". Basically, he doesn't have to pretend anymore, she was never fooled. He's shocked, got this boggled look on his face. Raine giggles and tells him the hair was a dead giveaway. Yuan then stomps off in a huff to tell Kratos his disguise ideas stink.
It was a good dream. mrgreen I wonder what I'll have next~
