My personal information.
I am married. I have no children. I hate country music. I used to be homeless. I love life, even though at first, it didn't love me. Nature was just trying to toughen me up. God wanted me to show others, there is light at the end of a struggle. I wished for friends that cold winter. I wished for a family. At the time it was only God, my, husband, and me. No employer wanted to hire a homeless person, what did a bum have to offer? Fix your problems they all thought, who said I did anything wrong to be homeless? Sterotypical assholes. I refused to make money illegally. Drugs, prostitution, NO it wasn't me. I struggled with my husband more than others in the same situation. We didn't do anything wrong to be homeless, why do anything wrong to not be homeless? Along came the thieves on the streets, what a jungle. Fighting to keep the money we had left from the drug addicts and hustlers. Night time was a horror movie. One of us slept while the other kept watch. The only other bums that were safe, were the ones that smelled like a dumpster or of a coffin. Even the ones that talked to themselves got robbed. Atlantic City was one of the dirtiest places I have ever seen mankind destroy with corruption, sin, and selfishness. Greed is Atlantic City's God. Happy Holidays! Salvation Army got us in Covenant House, a shelter for kids! That was no easy trip either, but we made it through. 2008, my husband and I got an apartment, hooray! We have lived there since! Just don't go out at night, there's gangs who shoot at each other. I am still alive and got married on September 14th, 2010. Even though some things could be better, I love God and my husband, and life is worth living for. And we're stronger now. Instead of play pretend fantasies in High School where all the teens dream of "Getting out of here". I am over that, and I have been getting wiser, and stronger, and out of all I've been through, I'd do it all over, because it simply made me better.
My husband and I are financially secure now, and more stable than ever! Since 2008, we've been healthy, happy, and enjoying life! Life is beautiful, if you can stay strong and keep moving forward. And my own apartment feels incredible.
Thank you God.
And My Husband.
Love,
Jennifer
