Ettore sat down on the couch with Camilla. He had fun getting the pizza ready with her. They had a little bit of a food fight, which he had never done before. And it was fun. This really was a good birthday, he thought. He smiled at her, playing with her hair. It was soft and was like silk, which made him keep playing and running his fingers through it. "What did you bring to watch?" "Kiki's Delivery Service." She blushed and got up to get her purse over by the door where she put her shoes. She looked at Ettore, who looked confused. "Have you ever watched anything by Miyazaki...?" "Miya-what-now?" Ettore laughed and sat forward. He really had no idea what she was talking about. "Miyazaki! He makes movies! And you call yourself an anime fan..." Camilla jokingly put that on him. "I don't call myself anything!" He laughed. "So, it's an anime. Alright. What is it about?" She blushed and took the movie out of her purse. "It's about a witch...well, she's training to be one, really... She goes off to live alone for a year... It's really good. And it is one of my favorites." "Sounds odd." He stretched, leaning back. "But I know you like odd." She set down the movie on the arm of the couch and jumped up by Ettore's side. She smiled, crossing her legs and looked at him. "You're right about that." He leaned over and grabbed onto her, pulling her into his lap. "You're the oddest girl I've met." He held his arms around her and gently kissed the back of her neck. She blushed and got quiet. "Oh, please. I'm completely normal..." She shook nervously and kept moving around uncomfortable in his lap. The timer on the stove went off, and she hopped off of his lap quickly, almost losing her balance. Ettore watched her and frowned. He wished she wasn't so nervous, but he knew she had never been close to anybody like that. He stood up. "Wait here and put the movie in if you want. I'll see if it's done." He smiled and went to the kitchen. He grabbed a pot holder and opened the oven. The heat stung his eyes and he looked away, closing his eyes a moment. He pulled out the cheese pizza they made and set it on top of the stove. It was finished and smelled good. He took out two plates and the pizza cutter. He quickly cut the pizza and put a slice on each plate. "Hey, what do you want to drink?" He poked his head out of the kitchen to look in the living room. "Uhm...what do you have..?" She was just putting the movie in. "Water, milk...Coke." He shrugged his shoulders. "Any of that?" "Coke!" She sat back down on the couch. "Please." Her cheeks puffed out. "Nice choice." He opened the fridge and grabbed two cans of Coke and put them under his arm. He picked up the plates, which wasn't easy for him to do with the Cokes under his arm. He carried them out and smiled. "Help me." He was about to drop the plate he was carrying the cans with. Camilla took it quick and took the other plate, too, so he could set the drinks down. "Thanks." His smile turned into a grin and he put one of the cans in her lap as he sat down. She jumped at how cold it was, almost dropping the plates. "Hey!" She giggled and handed him his plate. She looked at her plate and smiled. "Looks good..." She started taking small bites as she pressed the Play button on the remote. They sat quietly, watching and eating their food slowly. They kept looking over at each other and looking away when they saw the other was looking. He scooted closer to Camilla after putting his empty plate and can on the end table. "Did you want more?" He whispered to her, looking at her plate that she hadn't touched in some time. She gave him a small nod, staring at the movie. She really did love these kinds of movies, and Ettore could tell. She was shivering quiet a bit. "Ettore?" "Yes?" He took the plate from her lap and took her empty can, putting it over by his. "It's cold in here..." She rubbed both her arms. "Oh..." He got up and rushed to the hallway closet. He took out an extra blanket that he usually took out and put on his bed during the winter. He turned up the heat a notch and put the heavy blanket over Camilla's head, making her fall over. He chuckled to himself. "Ettore!" Her voice was muffled by the blanket. She was giggling and moving around under the blanket, trying to find her way out while still on her back. He lifted the blanket up a little, just so he could see her beautiful and blushing face. "Hi." He grinned and leaned down close, still holding the blanket up. "Well, hello handsome." Camilla blushed more and reached up, her hand gently stroking his cheek. "Somebody needs to shave." She smiled up at him and then she got a serious look on her face. She pulled him down under the blanket, on top of her. He didn't see that coming, and his eyes widened that moment. "Camilla-" He was cut off by her lips against his. He closed his eyes and his heart was pounding. He hoped he wasn't too heavy to her, she was so small compared to him. He was a little hesitant at first but he roughened the kiss. One of his arms slid under her, caressing the small of her back. His other hand ran reached and grabbed her small hand. Camilla squeezed his hand hard, her body shaking and squirming under his. Her face was getting hot and she gripped the back of Ettore's shirt. Her legs rubbed up against his sides before she gently wrapped her legs around him. She pulled back to catch her breath and quickly went in for another kiss. This time, she kissed him passionately. He let go of her hand and ran both of his hands up the sides of her shirt. He kept feeling her soft skin, and it did make him blush ever so slightly. Then he started to think to himself. It had been a while since he had been with a woman like this, and he felt like he was going crazy. But they've only been together for a few hours, and maybe they were going a bit too fast. He couldn't do this to Camilla. He pulled himself back away from her and sat up, letting the blanket fall on the floor. "Camilla..." He gasped, trying to calm himself and ignore bulge in his pants. She put her fingers up to her lips, blushing more. She looked like she couldn't believe what she had done. "I...I'm sorry." "Don't be." He leaned over her and stared her in the eyes. "I just felt like we were going a little fast there." He smiled slightly and pushed her hair away from her face. "You're beautiful, Camilla... I don't want to hurt you." Her eyes filled with tears as she smiled at Ettore. She sat up and wrapped her arms around him, her face buried in his chest. She tried to say something but Ettore couldn't make it out. "What?" He laughed and gently pet her hair, his other hand rubbing her back. "You're poking me..." She looked up at Ettore and blushed, clearing her throat and letting go of him. Her face got an awkward look as she looked the other direction. He looked down and slapped his forehead. "I'm sorry..." He growled and picked up the blanket, covering his lap. Camilla let out a small laugh and looked at the television. "It's halfway through..." She took half of the blanket and covered up, cuddling up to Ettore. "You missed some important stuff." She said quietly. "No, the only important thing here is you..." He kissed her on the forehead and held her close. His heart kept pounding, he was really falling for her. It felt different than his love for Angela. It was stronger in many ways and that made him feel happy. He understood that he and Angela never were going to work out, it just took her cheating on him to find that out. He kept his eyes on Camilla, not wanting to take his eyes off of her. After a short while, her eyes closed and she had fallen asleep on his lap. He couldn't help but smile. She looked even more innocent while she slept. and she still looked beautiful. He thought she always did, but this was the first time he saw her sleep. Carefully, he picked her up, trying his best not to wake the sleeping beauty. He carried her to his room. He put her on his bed and pulled the covers over her. "Goodnight, Camilla..." He whispered and kissed her on the cheek, being careful not to wake her. He stared at her for a few moments smiling. Then he grabbed one of the pillows off the bed and carried it back with him to the couch. . He'd sleep there tonight, but first he’d open the envelope that Camilla had hid in the book she gave him. Ettore opened the envelope in a hurry, ripping it down the middle. He didn’t know why he felt to excited to open it. “Oh, wow.” His cheeks turned bright red and he couldn’t help but smile. It was a picture, she must had drawn it he though. It was of them, kissing. “So was this how she was going to tell me she liked me?” His heart skipped a beat, and he grinned. He turned over the picture, and looked at the back. “I was right.” It said, “I know we haven’t known each other for very long, but I can’t take it anymore. I really have feelings for you, Ettore.” He laid down on the couch, puffing the pillow behind his head. He tried his best to get comfortable as he held the picture from Camilla in his hand. He kept staring at it and smiling. Even though his eyes were extremely heavy, he couldn’t stop staring. But over time, he started to drift off into a deep sleep.
