I have been introduced to the series Immortal Rain!
AND I *^&$#@ ADORE IT!!! But I'm not on a high (I can't stop reading it, but I'm not on a high). So I can't come down from anything like I did with Slayers and end up disliking it later.
Similarities between "Immortal Rain" and "Wolfman Kenkaku"
Like Lakute, Rain has been wandering the earth for ages. Give or take 400+ years. Like Lakute, his -cough- "lady friend" is a young girl. But since Rain didn't practically raise Machika, I'm willing to take a HUGE stretch and see them as a romantic couple. They kissed, how can I deny it now?! >> I still won't do it for Lakute and Kukaru though. I wish I could figure out what their relationship is...
Rain and Machika are so sweet it gives me cavities. ONWARD TO THE FLUFF! And the drama, and adventure, and the psychotic little soulless monster and his mother...
(both of whom now have my ((reluctant)) respect. I finished all the available books a little while ago.)
