You know how you know a book is good? When you lock yourself in the room, stay up late at night, and force yourself to go to bed. And for me? Its when I actually cry, when I actually want to cry, cheer, and laugh. All at the same time. That's what I love about a good book, and dammit, I need that thrill. Movies, god dammit movies make me cry, but its that kind of crying that I don't like, that kind that just pisses me off.

I guess that's why people really write things. Screw what they teach you in school, books aren't written to entertain, they aren't written to teach you anything. Us writers are selfish and psychotic. We need the pleasure of having some random person causing himself health problem's just cause he thinks are stories are so damn good.
