Tropical's Dreams, Stories, and sometimes Poems :3

~An English Tip~
Today, my English Professor gave a tip to the class. He answered a question I have been meaning to ask for the last week, but keep forgetting.
He told us a B.C. college professor told him this not too long ago.
He asked the class, "How do you know when to use whom or who?"
No one could answer.
He replied with, "It substitutes him/he."

Example: The money belongs to ___.
The blank would be filled in with "whom". The sentence wouldn't make sense if it said, "The money belongs to he." Rather, you would say, "The money belongs to him."

Example: __ is the one that owes money?
The blank would be filled with "who". "He is the one that owes money?" makes sense, not "Him is the one that owes money."

I found this tip extremely helpful with my English, and I just wanted to share it with all of you since I thought it was a great tip! Hope you find it helpful too!
