Or in anycase, my wrist. I've been diagnosed with premature carpel tunnel and though I keep trying to remain optimistic in my usual manner, I can't help but feel...cheated, you know? I draw, I write, I fence, I paint, sculpt, pottery, beading, video games... stage design. All of that...
I suppose, if I take good care myself, it'll be okay though, right?
Firstly , with this new obstruction I am limited to 2 hours a day. Secondly, flute one hour a week. Thirdly, no more fencing, period. 4th, no writing. 2 hours a week max. 5th, no drawing for 6 weeks. 6th, no PS2 games for 6 weeks and once I start again, only as hour. 7th I must become predominantly left handed.
It really sucks you guys, seriously. Also, I have to take gluocosamine again, continmue with my knee stretches nad now do arm stretches. I also need to drinks lots of teas and coffee, along with grape seed extract and white iwllow bark to help with inflamation. I also have to wear this brace on my wrist. I can only take it off in the shower or water, sleeping, eating, and for occasionaly periodic stretches.
If after 6 weeks, I still have issues, they're putting me in pyshical thearpy followed shortly by if after another 6 weeks of no improvement, surgery.
Oh well, eh? I sitll gett o go to Japan (read my Xanga starting from mid febuary to find out more.) and I've been trying this left handed, so far, besides my hand writing looking like a four years olds and my drawnings not having clean lines, I'm doing okay.
