Far too long has modern day socity ignored the legends of the mystic days. They created shopping malls upon placed that were once sacrifice alters. The have demolished forests that have housed magical creatures such as pixies and elves. Then, they polluted the land, air, and water they survived upon. They were doomed, but most ignored this, and went along with whatever they were doing.
But then they dug their landfills too deep, and set free a dangerous creature. This creature destroyed most of the lands once before, and was sealed away by the magical sorceresses and sorcerers. Those have been long gone now, torn apart by the humans.
But hope still remains, in the sorceresses and sorcerers souls, that have wandered the earth, restless. Once they sensed the creature would come back, they took over a child, while it was still soul-less. Thus, Earth had hope.
But it took them long to grow, and become the powerful sorceresses and sorcerers they once were. Then, they had to seek out the creature, who they dubbed 'Destructor', for lack of a better name. They set out to battle Destructor.
But they were missing something. They needed their weapons, and the help of the mystical creatures that had once roamed the Earth. They searched for them, while Destructor destroyed most of the human race.
A message was sent to the cres, sent by the 'Head' sorceress.
"Please, help us,"She pleaded. "We need your help, as the destruction that once happened so long ago, in the time of you great-great-great grandfathers and grandmothers, has happened again. Please,"Tears began to run down her cheeks, tears of all the fears collected in the people that had seen the terror that was Destructor. "We are begging you, if you still don't wish to come, please.. We need your help, your strength, your magic..." The image of her floated away, those last words echoing in the creatures minds. They hesitated for a second, then grabbed their weapons from where they rested.
"Off we go." Murmured one elf.
"To help save the world." And other said, and a murmured of agreement echoed throughout the remaining elves. The thousand or so that were left marched out of the forests where they hid from the humans machinary, and went to meet with the fairys, pixies, nymphs, mermaids, and other magical creatures, along with the sorceresses and sorcerers.
The head sorceress came up to greet them, the ocean nearby so that the mermaids could hear. "I am glad that you have come to help. We'll need it..." she murmrued that last sentence, and only the sorceressess and sorcerers could hear her. They smiled grimly and sighed.
"Let's get down to buisness, before Destructor comes. We'll need our weapons, first, and others. But, does anyone know where the Axe of Pyro is?"
A small fairy flew up, waving it's tiny hand in the air. "I know the general area where it rests." She said in a voice that sounded as though she swallowed a bunch of helium. "Off, in the desert. Before, when humans came, and I had to hide, I heard them say the desert was called, 'The Sahara Desert'. It's off on the oher side of the world, though!"
Sirea(the head sorceress) nodded grimly. "Then we shall just have to get there. By any means."
Some mermaids threw themselves onto the land. "We can carry some of you, if we can think of no other better way."
"That's a good idea. We shall go. Come." The sorceress and sorcerers carried the mermaids that threw themselves onto land back into the water, the hopped onto their backs.
