Guide #3 Subject: How to Break Up with Someone Message from the owner: Now, what is this kind of guide doing in here?? Well obviously, someone asked "How can I break up with someone?", and I used the below to answer their question. I actually liked the advice I gave him/her, that I wanted to share this with you! Comments/feedback would be appreciated. Questions in PM please. ------------------------------------------------------------ If you've seen drama films, they go "I think we should see other people..", yeah, don't use that. They'll just cry and keep on asking why and then you'll have to through the trouble of calming him/her down. But yeah, that happens naturally on whatever you say. Think back how you spent your relationship. Then think about how long you're gonna spend time "breaking up". Don't go on a date to tell him you want to break up. Obviously, breaking up by text/phone is low. Give hints. The next time you talk to him, sound like you're not interested with the conversation. If he asks what's wrong, say it's nothing. If he keeps pressuring you, tell him it's really nothing. Re-assure him so he won't keep bothering you, but not completely so he doesn't get the message. Distance yourself from him. Remember, give hints that you're getting tired of the relationship. Maybe he'll get tired too. Finally, be calm and tell him. Maybe along the lines of "I just don't want to.." or something. Yes, there will be arguing, crying (maybe), and especially questioning. Just stay calm. You'll find the words you want during the situation. Breaking up is a normal part of life.
