Ive given up on fairytales.
Taken romance from my Life.
Its just to hard to wade,
Through the waters of my strife.

Theres no such thing as soul mates,
Or love at first sight.
Cupid does exist,
Though hes hardly ever right.

Aphrodite is a myth.
Her power non-existent.
Why else would so called lovers,
Be so darn resistent.

Whoever said Love was blind,
Know hes also deaf and dumb.
This is why it is so hard,
To find your only one.

But if you think different.
And dont give up like me.
Then you could be the one,
That will make Love see.

Soule mates might be real.
And Aphrodite too.
And maybe just for once,
Cupid's arrow will be true.
