(Art 101= 1)

Art 101 Class teaches student the fundamental elements used in most creative art. This class is taut by Mr. Starling and covers a range of various styles of art types; including drawing, sculpting, and painting.

This class is open to all students of every skill level.

Walking into the class you find your self walking into a large open loft like area. On the left, lines of different sized locker cover the wall for student to keep their supplies and projects in. The back wall are open to only three large bay windows to allow nature light it. On the right a large three sink cleaning center and two doors, that lead into a kiln room and a air dry room. The kiln room is completely empty except for the medium sized kiln in the middle of the small room. The air dry room is the same size as the kiln room only floor to ceiling with shelf for sculpting projects to air dry before getting fired in the kiln. The desk are all lined up in four lines or five all facing the front of the class looking at a white bored. The desk can pop up to become easel when students are painting.

Alexander smiled to himself as he opened the door to his class room, the wonder mixed scent of paint, clay, and marker welcomed him. He walked up to his desk at the front of the class, looking out upon a small see of smaller student desks. He put down his files and paper work, and turned his attention on to the white bored. Picking up a black dry erase pen he started to write his name at the top right conor of the bored, then a list of many art words that he would help go through each definition with he new class.
"I do hope Kebe decides to take my class again, she always has so many wonderful ideas, and her drawling are all so wonderful. I'm hoping she'll finally try her hand at painting." Alexander thought to himself of his little blind adoptive sister, and how her set back doesn't stop her from doing anything. After finishing the list of forty words, Alexander put down his pen and went back to his desk. Taking a seat he began looking over is list of pre-class checks and then he began looking over his class list.

Alexander looked up from his paper worked and smiled at a young girl at his class room door. "Miss Yagami, yes sweet heart you may enter. You are correct you do have art one o' one this class hour." He studied the young girls face for a momment or two the the image of her traveling company. He got up from his chair and walked up towards her and held his hand out to offer the young girl help towards her seat. "Right this way towards a world that is all your own." He softly spoke as he kinda guided young Yagami to one of the front seats.

The medium sized river snake wrapped it's self up around Kebe's neck and hissed in her ear as she quicken her pace of walking. She lazier navigation device in her right hand, had already been updated with the layout of the school and her schedule but she was still racing to get to her first class on time. "I know Nera, I'm late, but no worries my first class is my big brother's class art. He won't flip out if I'm late, like the others." She spoke to the snake. "I might actully take up on old Al's offer of trying painting this year." She wound her was down another hallway and towards a doorway. She stopped and extended he left hand out, gesturing the snake to come down off her neck and into her hand so as she may send it back. "Until we meet again Nera." Kebe kissed the top of the snake head and with that kiss the snake vanished into then air. Kebe then used her free left hand to feel the door frame and door, she knocked. "Mr. Starlings class?" She asked before entering.

Anubis:As he appeared behind the student. He thought to himself,"Another blind student. Well, being the adoptive brother of my daughter, he must have a lot of experience."
He opened, the door for Kebechet, his daughter.
"Yes it is." He said while turning his attention to the instructor.
"Mr.Starling, may I speak to you privately?" Anubis asked politely while taking Kebechet's hands softly, and guiding her to a desk.

Kebe felt confused as someone took her hand, the hand felt warm and strong, not really any hand of anyone she knew. Yet the it felt very welcoming and comforting. Kebe giggled a little under her breath and blushed. By the tone of the voice and authority it seem to have asking to talk to her adoptive older brother, she guessed the person was male. Before take a sit in the empty desk she bowed in the general direction of the male who helped her. "Thank you ever so much Sir...." She didn't know who the male was so she generalized her appreciation. She then turned her attention on taking off her back pack sitting on the floor and taking out her note book and pencil and taking her seat.


Alexander smiled as he looked at the cat then at his student. "I would be crushed if he left...He could be one of our many muses." Then quickly turning around to see his kid adoptive sister at the door. He was about to make a sly remark, but his thought was cut short when an adult appeared out of no where behind his sister, taking her hand and helped her into Alexander's class room. 'May I speak to you privately?' Alexander thought to himself as he nodded in reply. "Please excuse for a short moment class." He said to his two student and walked out into the hallway and waited for the other adult. 'Do I know this person, he seem familiar, but from where. I hope Kebe isn't in any trouble again.' He thoughts turned quickly to his kid sister.


Anubis:"I am to admit, having a stranger appearing out of thin air must be strange, but even you must have to admit that this isnt any ordinary school." Anubis said in his most human form, wearing a black egyptian silk suit.
"Now, Im sorry for the inconvenience but, I simply want to know how Kebechet's life has been." Anubis said trying to make sure that Mr.Starling understood what I meant.
"She isnt in any trouble or anything. From what I could understand was that she was a 'gift from god' was it?" Anubis said, raising a black eyebrow.

Alexander nodded his head in agreement to what this man had to say about this place not being an ordinary school, and the people it contained not being ordinary themselves, except for perhaps himself. He took a half step back and full examined this stranger. The naging feeling in the back of his mind that he again knew this person, but couldn't remember was driving him insane. He shook his head in dismay. "I'm afraid, I do not understand you, who are you to ask how was the up bring of my little sister's life." The questions did set him back, how did this man know about the 'gift from god' meaning, though he got it wrong. For all he knew this guy could be on the sex offenders list, and he'd be dame to let any harm come to Kebe or his mother, they were all they had in this small world.

As soon and the door shut, Kebe automatically, even though she was curious about her new classmate who spoke of her girl cat, Kebe was more curious about the strange guy who was talking to her brother. She quickly retraced her steps and listen to the two men talk, only to hear they were talking about her. Kebe shook her head in dismay as she listen to her brother guard her life from the other man. On impulse she pull open the door and blankly look at the two men. "BROTHER." She kinda yelled in dismay. "I have no secrets to keep from anyone. Well Sir, I'm doing quit well, both my mother and brother gives me lot of love and encouragement. As far as 'gift from god' it's what my mother says about my powers, I don't think so much as me. See I can summon an odd type of water that's cooling and cleansing, and well in many places water is the gift of life and renewal. I'll admit that I am bit of a handful sometimes only because I very much like to explore the world in my own way through touch or echolocation...." She said before her brother cut her off.

Alexander cut his sister of and jumped back towards the door pushing Kebe back through. " Kebechet return to your seat right now and stay out of this." His temperature was rising, he shut the door behind his sister and held the door knob so she couldn't opening it again.

"Well it was nice talking to you Sir..." She replied behind the closed door and stuck out her toung to her brother. She walked slowly back towards her seat. While in her seat she turned towards the sound of breathing from the seat next to her. "Hiya friend. I'm Kebechet Zinis Starling. It's nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand in the general direction to greet her new school mate.

Alexander breathed out of frustration, "I apologist sincerely for Kebechet's impulsive outburst." He turned his gaze back at the strange man.

Anubis:"Well, she is in her teenage years so its quite understandable. Well, as to the question as too who I am. Well, although my name is not used in many conversation in Egypt now a days." He said transforming into his deep black-skinned, jackal-headed form in full egyptian wardrobe.

"Well, I didnt mean to cause her nightmares but she wakes too quickly for me to tell her anything and its always because of that 'jackal' in her dream?" He spoke pointing to his head.

"Well, I am Anubis and she is very well my blood and her mothers flesh as Kebechet always resembled her mother. But just between us, I dont want her to find out just yet, but lets just say, your not her only brother attending this extraordinary school."He wispered an echo as he disappears into the shadows.

Kebe smiled in meeting a new friend. "Saika that's a really beautiful name, and the name Moxie reminds me of the old soda drink." She giggled "I'm studying to be a summoner what are?.." Kebe was cut off by the sound of someone coming back into the classroom.

Alexander felt like he was just sucker punched in his chest. He's legs gave way and fell to his knees. 'What the hell.....Was that guy for real?...And he is that means.....He was Kebe's father....And Kebe is a.....goddess?' He thought to himself as his insides decide to flip flop all over. 'What am I to do....' He took a deep breath in and out, calming himself down. 'I've got to just go back in there and teach my class that all.' He used the door to help himself up on his still shaking legs. He took in more deep breaths before re-entering his classroom.

Kebe listen to her brother or someone re-enter the room. She raised her hand straight up, cause if it was her brother she wanted to ask a question.

Alexander just stared at his baby sister, now looking at her in a different way. He shook his head to help himself shake out of the thoughts. "Yes, miss Starling, what is it?" He walked back to his desk, he started looking through his paper work for the braille copies of his classroom syllabus. He grabbed them and handed one to Saika and one to Kebe.

"Who was that man in the hallway?" Kebe asked her teacher.

"That was Mr. Anubis, now please no more questions miss Starling we need to start class." He tried to ignore thinking of what just happened to him. "Now what I just handed out to you is a layout of what my class is, my rules, and what I expect out of each of you as my students."

Kebe ignored her brother and thought about the stranger name. 'Anubis....Anu...bis...why is his name so familiar.' She thought to herself, the pulled out her braille copy of her class schedule from her note book. She used her hands to read the name of each of her classes then of her teacher who taught them. 'That's it.' She said running her hands over Necromancy and Mr. Anubis's name. 'He's my Necromancy teacher, hum...Well he seems really nice. I hope I do well in his class.' Kebe put her class paper away and once again started to listen to her brother.

"I will only allow you five minutes after that bell rings, for you to get here and in your seats. After that I will mark you tardy, get five tardies you earn yourself a detention, get ten tardies and you earn a trip to the principals office. When I give out an in class assignment, that assignment will be due that day and stays in class. I will give you weekly assignments, these assignments are mostly your homework assignments, they will mostly be given on Monday and due by the end of class Friday. When we do special project I will set the tools and supplies you'll need on your desks. I will keep all your assignments and photos of your projects to help build a portfolio that you may use to help in collage or what not." Alexander explained the details of his class room.

"Today is your first in class assignment, I want you to sketch on your note paper or sketch paper your deepest fear, then share it with the class. I want us to all be friends and to trust one another." It was all a ruse Alexander just wanted to know why Kebe was really afraid of his Jackal thing in her dreams.

Anubis:I needed to give Kebe a similar ring to Anu's so i came back.

"Mr.Starling, Im sorry for the ubrupt disturbance again, but no worries, they cant hear me at the moment, only you can." Anubis whispered in the shadows.

"I wanted to give my daughter a ring. You should find it in your left side pocket." He whispered.

Only did Anubis know that on the side of the ring, was in braille, 'dont be afraid of the jackal'.

Kebe smiled, this assignment was going to be super easy. Kebe had been drawing the scary jackal from her dream ever since Alexander showed her how to draw. She slowly started with the sharp pointy ear, then fallowed down the scavenger's sleek snout. She didn't need to see her sketch for it to give her the chills. After completing every detail of the head, she stopped, in her dreams Kebe had seen this thing two ways. Sometimes the jackal would have the body of a jackal, a body of a lean mean doggy. Sometimes she would see the head of the jackal on the body of a very strong and powerful man completely dressed up in an odd outfit. Today she decided to sketch the man version of the jackal. She softly sketched out and shadowed the males muscled body, then she let her mind turn to the odd dressing adding detail to trim, and the object the thing almost always held, her mother said it was a flail.

Alexander looked around in indifference, "You told me not to tell her about you, so I won't." He said under his breath, reaching into his left side pocket to pull out the ring and ran his hand over the bumps. 'Don't be afraid of the jackal.' "I'm not going to give her this." He whispered out to Mr. Anubis and held out the ring. "Beside she should decide for herself to fear you or not." He spoke under his breath.

Anubis:"Im sorry, you seemed to of misunderstood after that moment in the hall. What I said was,'I dont want her to find out just yet'. She wont find out, she's amazingly bright but even she cant piece all of this together, well, not untill she meets him." Anubis huffed.

"The ring, is just a present for me missing all of her brithdays. I just love the Winter Solstice dont you?" Anubis said in admiration.

"Well, lets make this quick shall we? That other blind student will soon know of my presence because of her cat." He spoke in hushed tone, pointing to the cat sitting on Saika's lap.

Kebe stood up having been the first to finished her class assignment. She held up the really detailed work of art. "I'll go first Mr. S. This is a jackal a scavenger, dog like creature that would uncover human bodies and eat their flesh. This particular jackal is however half human, he's very tall and powerfully built. I fear the Jackal because he seems to have the eyes of death." She took a quick bow then sat down. "How was that Mr. S?" Kebe asked her brother.

Alexander listen and watched his sister presenting her art work, but his attention was mostly in the shadows. "It wouldn't kill you to give it to her yourself. I don't want to brake her thoughts of her family, and I wish you never told me who you were." Alexander placed the ring at the corner of his desk, and looked straight as Kebe.

Anubis:"Well, if a stranger gave her a ring out of no where and said I was her father she wouldnt believe me. Now, doesnt her drawing look like me? When I showed you what I trully looked like? The only way that she would trully believe that I am her father is if you said it, her loving adoptive brother." Anubis snarled in a whisper, offended by his sly remark.

"So you never thought that someone with gifts like her would be of a royal family of gods? Like it or not, you have too give her the ring, she has a part of her heart that is empty that will only fill if she knows the truth, and she wants to know even if she says she doesnt. Now, answer her question or she will be curios of what I said to you about her in the hall." He whispered more calmly.

"Miss Staling, that was...Very average, I'm sorry, but I'm going to ask more of you then this childish cartoon." He felt himself stab his own heart as well as his baby sister, he knew he was going to be sick. He picked up the dammed ring from his desk and walked over towards Kebe. "And someone dropped this off for you." He placed the ring on his sister desk.

Kebe started to cry she grabbed the sketch and ripped it up. "I hate you!" She jumped up out of her seat and raced out of the classroom stumbling down the hallway. 'Why did he do that?' Kebe reached the end of the hallways and felt the edge of stairs that lead down stair. She was crying so hard that she misjudge the step and fell down the stairs one floor, she passed out and started to dream. Her body had received a major cut to the for head but it was nothing compared to cut in the heart from her brother. Dreaming Kebe found herself standing at the banks of her river, the cooling water was clear and soothing. She just wanted to flote down it, and that's what she was going to do. She walked into the river and laid down, letting the water take her where ever it wanted to.

Anubis:"That was harsh. Well seeing how my daughter is hurt more ways than one, im going to go see her." Replying to what he just saw.

After finding Kebechet, Anubis said a small enchantation and her cut was gone. Then putting one hand 1 inch away from her head and closing his eyes, he entered her dream.

"Kebechet, dont be afraid of the jackal anymore.." He spoke, opening his arms.

Kebe felt the warmth of the hot sun on her skin as she let the water take her, she kept her eyes glued to the cloudless baby blue sky. Then she heard someone telling her not to be afraid of the jackal anymore. "Why?" She whispered out loud to the sun in the sky. "Why should I not fear it?...Him?" She took in the smells of reeds and the soil of the ground near the river.

"Class dismissed!' Alexander yelled to his only other student and ran out of his classroom to chase down his sister. Stopped at the top of the stairs. He ran down the stair dang near falling down himself, and grabbed Anubis by the back and pulling him away from Kebe. "You b*****d you leave her alone, it's because of you this happened to her." He yelled and started to hit Anubis.

Anubis:Anubis taking every hit without moaning or flinching.
"Yes, if it wasnt for me, she would of died of blood loss. Did you even notice the blood pool at all?" He spoke when he grabbed his fist.

"Now, she is in a coma so let me bring her back. Step aside." He snarled in anger.

He resumed with his hand to Kebechet's forehead.

"You will meet me later today, but tell your brother nothing of your necromancy class. I want to see you." Then he was gone.

"Let her sleep, Im sorry for what I brought on you, but this happened because being a father who hasnt seen her child for 15 years is something you can never understand." He carried Kebechet and put her in her dorm room and on her bed.

Tucking her in, he kissed her forehead and said,"hazz sa'eed". And left.

Sick with what he did to his sister, he knew he should let her sleep. Alexander kissed her hand one more time and left her dorm room. He walked slowly back towards his classroom, 'your sister could of died because you couldn't understand someone.' He shook his head in dismay. He enter the classroom to see young Saika and Moxie still siting in their desk. "Miss Yagami, miss Moxie class was dismissed already, you've already gotten an 'A' for your class project today wither you did it or not."
