BlazBlue: Continium Shift Review
Hey folks I'm here reviewing the game BlazBlue: Continium Shift which is the sequel to Calamity Trigger made by the people at Arc Systems Works the people behind the immensly popular Guilty Gear series. The plot of the game revolves around the protagonists Ragna The Bloodedge and Noel Vermillion. The game takes place shortly after the events in Clamity Trigger and the cast of characters are making their move as the wheel of fate is threatened.

Overall gameplay is as solid as the previous game my complaint though is that they removed the use of the right analog stick to allow for easy combos. The new Beginner Mode is somewhat difficult and takes some getting used to but not too bad of a feature.

The characters are as vibrant as ever with the addition of three new characters Hazama, Lambda-11 and Tsubaki makes it more interesting to the new players in the series. Noted they added Makoto and Mu-13 recently makes gameplay more exciting.

Several new features are also included like a Challenge mode, Legion mode which was introduced in the PSP version of Calamity Trigger and a Tutorial mode.

Online gameplay is still a bit iffy in my opinion but worth playing when you get tired of beating up the AI and the occasional human opponent sitting next to you.

My rating is cool cool cool out of cool cool cool cool cool
