Long ago, in a far away dimension, three wise men and two wise women came together and founded a city where magical, mythical monsters and humans, faeries and demons and even the common lizard could live in peace. The city is controlled by a central government, following the simple yet complex human trades of law, work, and taxes. The city its self is encased in a dark fog. It only lifts when the sun comes to the sky.
However, separate from this ordinary, common style of the city lie the uncommon necessities. In the night, the demons and other worldly creatures surface. They are bound by a different law. Each one is given a task, given a code name, given a sector. There are these ones called "Magic Researcher", meaning that they research the newest magick devices on the market, black and white.
Others are as follows: Trainer, Guardian, Heart, Core, Trainee, Worker, Queen. Through the government society, each name is also assigned the head of a branch- a sector. Under them are the leading subordinates.
A Trainer is one who trains humans with magic senses, or otherwise talents, in the arts of the ancient code. To project, to unify their powers and gain control over them. At any time, they can be born into a human mind, and body, and go in search of more recruits to bring to the city.
A Guardian stands on the castle walls, that is to say just at the city's boundaries. They defend from any enemy assault, and see to it that the royal families coming in or anybody for that matter get where they're going safe and securely.
A Heart is someone who stands in the middle of the city, just standing there. Should it come under attack, they use their ki (spirit energy) to build a force field, a barrier of sorts around the city. Four others are stationed at the given navigational directions.
A Core is someone who stands at the Queen's side, holding all of the information that she will ever need. In other words, a super computer on legs.
A Trainee is the one who is being trained. They are trained in different fields, according to their powers. An Earth Mage would be trained in research and development. One who controlls the shadows would be trained in shop keep, keeping a shop line open that contains the necessary items to create charms and work spells; for witches and the like.
A Worker is someone who blends in with the humans, learns their ways, and then reports back to the Main to help the other worldly better incorporate themselves into the human world.
A Queen cannot be chosen, unlike the rest. She is born with royal blood. A Queen in general, as the title says, is a royal ruler. She is given a sector of the human world that she stands by in. She operates the general duties of the Workers, the Trainers.
There is only one Queen that does nothing, and merely observes and makes decisions when going to war. She is called the Empress. The Universe its self has no chair for her sit in, so instead, she remains in the castle. Instead of ruling the Universe, she rules the city. The kingdom.
Unfortunately, the Empress herself can only bear one child per family line. This is to ensure a future throne, and no squabbling over who will be the next ruler after the former passes on. The Empress is an entire race all by its self.
Also, a quick notice. There are kings, but only women can rule legitly. In other words, kings cannot make laws, ect.

Note, with the cherry blossom trees, they turn to pink ice in the winter, and the lake turns to pink glass. Be careful. I think that's pretty much it. Personality: Cruel, passionate. Secretive. She yearns to build a society fit for all races, all species. A place where they can live together in peace. Her gentleness is often mistaken.
Story: At the age of 17, her mother, Paradite, died in a Meridian war. Her father had already been killed. That was her time to take the throne. The wolf creature you see in the photo is her best friend, Marcus. He's a werewolf warrior. He is her right hand man. In his human form he had silky black locks, cropped and spiky. His eyes are a molten lava red, and he has lean, perfectly sculpted muscles. He is normally seen wearing a skin tight black shirt, and a pair of black pants with a spiked belt that holds a skull at the buckle. He is cold and rutheless to everyone but the Empress herself. They have known each other for 23 years since birth. His age is 24.
Please do note that any assassination or normal attack on the Empress WILL be warded off by the guards surrounding the palace. The only way to kill her, well, is by a double agent. Someone on the inside. That's the only way to pass security.
