Separating Again

"Thanks, Rose," Dragon said as Rose healed her. "Some freaky strong human took off with him, Flan, and the redhead that was on your ship."

"Her name's Annamarie," Nogard said. "And she's strong in her own right. She was able to wield an alternate dimension Louie without it causing her harm."

Walking up to them, Broden said, "Not very surprising given that Annamarie's mother is Flan."

"There's just something wrong with a human being able to do things like what those three can do," Nogard said as Dragon and Xangord got up. "Are we sure they're even human?"

Glancing at Se'Rox as the blind Nobody stepped through a portal, Xangord looked thoughtfully north. A second or two later, she said, "Do what you will. I am finding my son."

"Xangord!" Dragon said as the Nobody stepped through a portal. "Seriously, she's way too protective of the hatchling. He's more than able to handle himself."

"So what do we do?" Nogard asked. "Your pet robot is destroyed and we don't know anything about why Mr. Blonde Man kidnapped Flan and Annamarie other than to reunite with his wife and daughter. Or where they went."

"Draco had given me an assignment to watch over Annamarie when she was little should anything happen to her parents," Broden said.

"Okay," Dragon said. "Broden, I want you to take the family and go back to the house; get TIkkit and have them to help you find parts to rebuild Nissa. Nogard, I trust that you can behave yourself to go back in time to Flan's past and find out what you can about her and her family without causing too much trouble."

Nogard grinned. "Whatever you say."

"What about you?" Broden asked.

"I'm going to go speak to Grandfather's boss," Dragon said, glancing at Rhonabwy. To Rose, she said, "Sorry to run, dear. I'll be back as soon as I can if you need me."

With that, the remaining three Dynasty siblings split up to do their appointed tasks.

Recon & Capture

When Chixalam had stabbed Vexen in the chest, he was immediately imprisoned by the others. A few days later, however, Xemnas himself came to release Chixalam. "My that was short."

"Another of Vexen's clones has awakened," Xemnas said. Walking up the hall behind him was, indeed, Vexen. "Luckily we had repaired the damage to the computers before you killed the other so the reanimation did not take as long this time."

"Whatever," Chixalam said. "What do you want?"

"I want you to go to Gaia and retrieve a few renegade Nobodies," Xemnas said. "One of which is primarily related to the original downfall of the Organization. If you should cross her, use extreme caution."

"Fine," Chixalam replied. "Who am I looking for?"

Handing him a digitized tablet, Vexen said, "Zexion went there yesterday and has not been seen since. If you see him, bring him back."

Glancing at the faces on the tablet [1], Chixalam stowed the tablet in his back pocket and opened a portal. Just as the portal was closing behind him, he heard Xemnas and Vexen talking.

"Are you absolutely sure his memories will not return?"

"No, I eradicated every last one of them. Now even if he runs into any one of his extended family, none of them will be able to restore the memories no matter how much talking they do."

Stepping out of the portal on the other side, Chixalam saw a young girl digging in the dirt [2] with water bubbles aiding her by making the dirt softer. Consulting his tablet, Chixalam saw she was number 21 on the list. "Xami?"

Glancing up, the girl stopped digging for a moment. "Please! Help me, someone's buried underground!"

"Are you Xami?" Chixalam asked.

"Yes, yes!" the girl said. "Now will you please help me?"

"It has been decreed by Xemnas and the Organization that you must at once return to the castle," Chixalam said, pocketing the tablet. "Come along quietly dear."

"That's impossible," Xami said. "The Organization is dead!"

"I assure you they're quite alive," Chixalam replied. Holding his hand out, he said, "Now, are you going to come along quietly?"

"Whether they are or not, I'm not going with you!" Xami said, firing off several tiny bubbles like bullets.

Summoning his keyblades, Chixalam easily blocked the bubble bullets. "You don't want to fight me."

"Who are you?" Xami asked.

"Number 13, Chixalam," was the reply. "Key of Destiny."

Xami laughed. "See, now I can tell you're lying! Roxas was number thirteen and held the title Key of Destiny."

"That fool seems to have gotten himself absorbed by his Somebody," Chixalam said. "I am his replacement."

Creating swords out of bubbles, Xami growled, "I think you're a weak fool that is more talk than action!"

Chixalam sighed as Xami rushed him. With one quick motion, he made a diagonal slash when Xami neared him. Catching the girl as she crumpled, Chixalam lifted her over his shoulder in a fireman's carry. As he turned to leave, Chixalam noticed a bit of blue hair in the mud created by Xami's water bubbles. Walking over, Chixalam bent over and reached into the mud and pulled out a barely conscious Zexion. Creating a portal, Chixalam stepped through it.

"Xink!"

Glancing over his shoulder, Chixalam saw a female Nobody [3] in front of a closing portal. As his portal closed, Chixalam turned his back to her.
