Before I start this journal, I'd like to say thank you to a certain Gaian who so generously donated to me many items on my wishlist. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, I love the items. It's people like you that remind me that there are good people on Gaia.


It's been awhile, huh?
Yeah, it has. I've been wanting to write a journal at least every week, but unfortunately I haven't been so good at staying on top of that. I'll try to remember as much as I can starting from the beginning of this week.

Bus scenario XP
On Monday I took the city bus to school. I really hate taking the city bus for several good reasons; They're never on time, you can never depend on them, most of the busses have drivers who are just plain mean and rude, they're never reliable, etc. Anyway, so I hasitaintly go to take the bus and I get to the stop at least 4 minutes early and I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. The bus never came. It was most likely early as no one really takes the bus at these hours so they might have been speeding along going past all their stops seeing that were empty. I end up waiting nearly an hour for the damn thing to come all the way around it's route and back to where I was.

So I get on the first bus and it takes me to my transfer point where I wait for the next bus (which is fast as it has a small route). I see the bus that I needed across the street, this usually means that it'll be to where I was in about 5 minutes or so. What could go wrong? I wait about 5 minutes and a bus comes, I just naturally assume it was the bus I needed. I get on and it's speeds along where I needed to go, that was, until it took a different turn that it normally does. I don't freak out at first, thinking it was only a minor error on the drivers part because he looked and acted like a newbie bus driver. But too my surprise I find out that I had gotten on the wrong bus. My some chance out of my sheer stupidity I failed to look and see the bus number before I boarded it and had been on a different route for about 10 minutes, I was already late to school at this point. Just perfect. XP

Fortunately though, I know where that bus goes and was able to get off at a nearby bus station where I transferred onto another bus that took me to the same stop where I started before I got on the wrong one. *whew* That entire process took about 30 minutes. Thinking all was well and now was on the right track I relax . There were about 5 other people at the stop this time, mostly mentally handicapped peoples talking about baseball. I finally see the bus that I really wanted down the street, relieved, I quickly check my phone to see who I got a text from (which was a Gaia Alert so you know) and when I raise my head up to see where the bus was, it drove...right.....past.....me.....and.....didn’t.... stop.... even though...... I motioned for them to stop.....and the bus driver..... clearly saw me (made eye contact too)....... and just drove on. I was just absolutely pissed. I now had to wait for it to go all the freaking way around it’s route, but this was a fast bus with a small route, so I didn’t wait too long.

I was prepared to totally vocally rage to the bus driver as to why he did not stop when he clearly saw me. When I get on, I see that its a different driver this time. It was indeed still the correct bus, but apparently the bus drivers had just coincidentally changed shifts. I contain my rage and say nothing and just simply get on. I successfully get to my school. I called my mother so that she could call my teacher to excuse me from this great tartiness, which went fine. Overall I was about 3 hours late to school. I... hate... city busses.... period.





zOMG mouse art sorta
I read an interesting article about something called "IOGraphica" - It's this cross platform, freeware application that captures mouse movement as you do your normal computerly activities and transforms it into art by drawing it onto a blank canvass in the form or circles (mouse clicks) and lines (movement). In other words, it's just for the looks. It's an art form in several aspects.

To feed my curiosity, I though it'd be fun to try it out while playing zOMG (which involves quite a bit of mouse movement). And so I did, here are the results. The image is quite large in resolution. Approximately: 1440x900 pixels.

So anyway, that is what it looks like after turning my mouse movement into art after an hour of gameplay in zOMG. The circles represent where the mouse has either clicked or rested on the screen. Lighter circles mean it wasn't there for too long and the darker circles mean the mouse has been there for quite some time. I was fighting Papa Saw if you must know. In the image you can clearly see where I have been clicking, especially the bar where the rings are located. Pretty neat, huh? XD


AnimeExpo 2010

I am very excited to go to AnimeExpo for the second time. I will be very actively working on my costume, which is complete surprise!, as soon as I get a break from all my school madness. (aka Summer Break)
I ordered my wig and heels (hint-hint), but I still need to take care of one more very importaint thing, which is to book myself in a hotel. I will be taking care of this tonight. Hopefully it’ll work out because it’d be so awesome to stay with a fellow Gaian (you know who you are!) during the four-day convention.
