i haven't posted a journal entry in a little while...

let's see... the memory fried in my pc and it currently doesn't have enough functioning memory to be able to access the internet. so until i can get it fixed, i am using a borrowed system that although it's got enough memory to get online - it's cpu is slower than my pc's cpu. /headdesk. so i can't play zomg on it, and it doesn't have my art program on it so i can't scan and upload pictures to the web. it's like i've survived a fall off a cliff but now i'm in a body cast. *hooray i'm alive! but i can't scratch my nose - dammit!* xp

speaking of scanning and uploading and all that: i've been practicing drawing a bit more lately. i'm not planning to open a shop or anything like that - i just want to get better at it. i've done a few of my friends avvies, but mostly i've been just drawing whatever comes to mind. nothing photo realistic though - my style is very cartoony. so i have some stuff i want to scan and get uploaded over at my da page but can't do it right now. still, i think i'm getting better at it and i hope i can show the new stuff off real soon...

oh and my sweetie finished his treatment earlier this month and he seems to be feeling better. next week he goes in to get another scan done so we can find out how effective the treatments were. i'm hoping the news will be good...

anyway, that's how things are going here irl. for now i'm just doing the best i can with what i've got.
