Because when your life shatters,
you're indifferent,
doing the norm,
refusing to believe anything's wrong

The tears don't come
can't understand why
Eyes squeeze
attempting to cry

The aftershock isn't here
something precious is lost
but there are no tears
denial the cause

shudders run
hold self together
still don't cry
head hurts

Normal;
maintain order.
Hard;
Heart shattered,

The anger now comes
but still no tears
body shivering
unknown fears

Body, arms, shaking,
unaware
Now paralyzed,
Shock, not crying

Where have the tears gone
Does Heaven exist
life goes on
a wondering, pondering, twist

Scream;
for your life
Cry;
without sorrow

Fear;
the Unknown.
Believe;
for the souls

Ask;
without questioning
Die;
without knowing

Hate;
the cause
Kill;
without mercy

Smile;
no amusement
Learn;
no knowledge

Suffer;
right now
Live;
