Today's is Easter ~ Hurray!! But I didn't get any eggs or candy D; -cry cry-
Oh well, I'm too old for that stuff anyway. But deep down I really wanted that chocolate bunny ; n ;

You know, I've always wondered why the rabbit/bunny is the symbol of Easter so I did a little research :3 (google is amazing) So apparently a long time ago the hare (rabbit) was a symbol of fertility and renewal, therefore they associated it with the Day of Rebirth (of Christ) ... O.O;; As for the colorful Easter eggs, they were brought to America by the Germans ... along with beer and sausage |D
